   Constant lesson cancellation due to issues with the pool at Sherburn. We decided eventually to move to another swim school due to the lack of progress being made. We intended to attend the lessons paid for as to not waste our money but due to the ongoing cancelled lessons this was dragging on and on with no reason to believe the situation was going to improve so eventually decided to take an available space at another venue and asked for a refund for the remaing lessons but it was a flat no.

   Paid for a set term of swim lessons, school unable to conduct one lesson during the term period, asked for refund and rudely told they are keeping my money. Or use credits for another term after four months of not being able to receive one lesson, we organise another set of lessons with another school for obvious reasons meaning we can’t use credits so the school have run off with all our money for lessons with no apology. Feel like we have been stolen from for them to not provide any agreed service as per their contract. Avoid this company at all costs

   My child has attended swimming lessons for almost 2 years with carol saunders. Inconsistent would be a compliment, different teachers, lesson cancelled. Sherburn lessons got cancelled in the December and it continues to be closed, I asked for a refund after 3 months of no lessons to be told lessons are non refundable but for a £30 admin fee they will refund me like they are doing me a favour. It should be a full refund for not providing the services that were offered.

   My child had been swimming for 2 years with Carol Saunders swim school, and did not progress during the time. He had different swim instructors and there was no consistency. The groups were over crowed and the children had limited swim time. Some of the teachers lacked enthusiasm and the classes were constantly cancelled due to issues with the pools. My child didn’t enjoy attending. I have totally wasted my money!!! I have now moved to a different swim company and can see the difference in teaching styles and after his first lesson he has actually said how he can’t wait to return. Don’t waste your money! Terrible
