Great place to moor, good local facilities within walking distance, coop, Indian restaurant, pub! Nice walks around the lake and plenty of wildlife to spot.

Great short walk around the pond, great food at the canteen with a couple of tables. Plenty of parking. Easy walk with clear path easy for elderly, zimmers and wheelchairs

Located next to the A38 (traffic noise is minimal and then only near the car park) the park offers beautiful scenery and several walking route options. It's possible to cycle to Barton Marina in about 20 minutes (or a good hour's walk) plus routes to many other local places and beauty spots. The Hub cafe offers an excellent choice of hot & cold drinks as well as great food (hot and cold). The new toilet block was long overdue but is ideal. There are plenty of fishing spots, plentiful parking and almost limitless photo opportunities.

May 2025 This is a great place to take the family. There's a lovely cafe and two super clean toilets just by a large free car park. A well maintained path is good for walkers, runners, or cyclists and goes all around the water Near the cafe is an adventure playground and a picnic spot with several beaches. Branston Water Park lies just by The Trent and Mersey Canal, so you can do a spot of boat watching at a lock

Had a lovely romantic day time Autumn walk here. A nice flat walk with clear, easy paths, about a mile round. Has toilets and a cafe and a car park. Has plenty of wildlife and places to sit down for a picnic, also Has a nice play area.

Really nice for walking the dog or going for a cycle. Unfortunately at present (Aug 2022) there is a blue green algae warning, so don't let your pets drink from the lake.

It was fun going there on a bike, you could feed the goose/geese, ducks, swans and more birds, the wildlife are stunning, rabbits, foxes, fish and frogs. The children’s play park is fun for kids to go to, swings, slides, climbing frame etc. Theres a bike trail, walking trail, the actual water park is massive, you can fish (if you have permission) its very lively, full of a variety of greenery, i recommend if you have free time in burton!
