Early morning classes with Rach Howard at Dearneside are amazing. You will work hard with a welcoming group of people. They all help each other including new members, they include you in social events (breakfast, gigs, curry nights) and group chat. Rach has created a real friendly social group - love it.
I tried circuits last night with Chris Whitty. It’s a fab class, very welcoming and no pressure to complete all the exercises! I’ll definitely be making this a regular class!!
Used this gym on and off over the past few years, recently became a member again. Good equipment, not overcrowded, staff are friendly and welcoming, good price to include swimming and classes etc, and they do student memberships. Only minor complaint as someone else has said there's no pec deck/rear delt fly machine here, but there is one at other yourspace gyms. Would be perfect if they could get that machine!
Good range of facilities, friendly staff, a great place to train.
Great gym. So much space. Nobody bothering you so you can just get on with your routine but trainers available if you need a bit of advice. Enough free weights and machines to choose from. Good size pool. Always friendly no matter what time you go
Fairly average gym, pretty busy at all times apart from midday, upon cancelling your membership they charge you an additional month for a “notice period” pretty scammy
We use Dearneside Leisure centre for our child's swimming lessons. The changing rooms are always clean, there is ample poolside viewing for parents and the staff are always great.
You can learn to Scuba dive here on monday nights, it's great!
