New to the area, been here twice and I can say it's an improvement to the one I used to go to in Tingley. Great store with 2 walk in chilled rooms full of energy drinks and alcohol beverages. Large selection of food items etc and also sells hot snacks and iced drinks such as slushies and milkshakes. Would definitely recommend to others.
I go in often to drop parcels off early and the staff are nothing but friendly and helpful. The shop itself, since the refurbishment, is modern, inviting and clean with a wide selection of goods.
Great selection of essentials, a huge baking selection, some minimal fresh fruit and veg like lemons and potatoes. Cereal, kitchen roll, bin bags, a huge sweet and chocolate section including an American selection. Lots of alcohol options, including some fancier bottles if you're in need of a fast gift on the way somewhere.
Hours on here and plastered on the front of the store are incorrect. Walked all the way up from my house at the bottom of Fall Lane and arrived at 10pm to find it closed. Had to then walk down to Tesco Express instead. Won't be going again if they can't keep to their advertised hours!

Had problems before with been over charged you never seem to get a receipt which is convenient anyway Went in bought a selection of things specifically asked for a scratch card the lady packed my bag I did not receive a receipt got home realising the lady had not given me my scratch card (I know mistakes happen) . So phoned the shop to see if my husband could pick up on his way home got told I had to come back to the shop as the lady couldn't remember who she had served 5 minutes since. So drove back up after getting kids ready again trailing them out in the cold again & she printed my receipt off and had actually took the money off from my previous scratch card instead of giving me another. Either way still her at fault and was made come back up when obviously they could have printed this receipt off and told me over the phone but the man said I HAD To Come BACK . No apologies from the girl just attitude problem too busy laughing like school children with her co-worker to do thier job properly in the first place. I work in retail and this certainly was not good customer service don't go in much but certainly will not be going in now after the attitude of the young girl.
They overcharge you all the time. Then they don't want to give you your money back when you pull them on it. I'll be going to tesco from now on.. Disappointment.
