Great place to shop. There are always trolleys around on the shop floor and it looks a bit untidy, but it seems ok

I have been coming to this B&M store for year's on a rare occasion , alway's friendly & helpful floor & till staff who handle big ques really well and efficiently even when they can get a bit off abuse at busy periods which is unnecessary. There is a cashier called Tara who i have noticed has been there for many year's, alway's has been a polite & friendly service from this lady, overall a pleasant shopping experience!

Today, Me and my two daughters 20 and 17 turning 18 in a few days, went for shopping B&M and we spent a total of £170. When I went to to tills to pay, I 48 year old i was infront preparing to pay for the items, the cashier seen 2 bottles of 4% alcohol and she ignores me completely and asks my daughters from behind me for id. however the casheir ask my second daughter for her id and i told the casheir that the bottles were for me and there was no reason to ask my daughter for id. The casheir told me she wont sell me the 2 bottles and some chocolates that had 0.9% alcohol in them, and at this point the whole shop was watching us over a silly disagreement. I paid £170 worth of shop items but got denied 4% alcohol and 0.9% chocolates. I felt unnecessarly humiliated infront of the entire shop,The cashier was extremely rude and unprofessional and the staff definitely need some more training in customer service skills. We as a family are against underage drinking but the whole situation was extremely unnecessary.

Big, big discounts, we bought out toaster and kettle from here and it was a great quality still working a year later. We also bought a shoe rack for £15 from here which you just click together. They really do sell all sorts from garden furniture to hot wheels cars.

This is a big store and has everything you need in and around the home or garden. It's not a shop you can go into and walk out with nothing! There is always something you will like or think is handy. The confectionery section is amazing as it has alot of things you can't normally get elsewhere, such as American or few odd bits of Australian confectionery but keep in mind the prices are a bit steeper for these kind of items. I shopped here in the late morning, the only thing I did notice was there wasn't much staff about if help was needed.

Got most of what you need at half the price of the average shop. Would give a higher review but got accused of farting in here once and had some weird faces looking at me. Very awkward. Not enough staff working on the tills but they try their best.

Usually this is my favourite go too store but they seem to be struggling with essentials stock at the moment. Lots of empty shelves on my last visit. But may have just been due to them replenishing christmas stock. Prices have also increased quite a bit too which is disappointing. But staff are helpful and polite. Store is always clean and well laid out.
