   From start to finish all the staff were great. Got to give Angie a special mention though as she did both my tattoos, a cover up and a new one. Angie is an excellent artist and also understood the emotion behind my new tattoo, would recommend her to anyone.

   In my 50’s now and decided it was time to have a tattoo. I wanted something small, quite simple in design but that meant something. I went to Mat at North Star after reading reviews and am so pleased with my experience. My daughter drew a design for me and I printed it out the small size I wanted it to be and gave it to Mat. He explained the process and aftercare and how it may change over time due to how small some of the parts were. I am extremely happy with how it looks on my wrist and it is very special to me. I had previously seen some of his other, larger pieces and was really impressed with his art. I am glad I booked him for my first tattoo and would definitely go to him for more. Also, the actual studio is immaculately clean which was very reassuring!

   I went here for the first time for 2 tattoos with Angie. As soon as I walked in, the first thing that struck me was how immaculately clean the place looked and smelt which is always a good start for a tattoo place. Welcoming, professional and high quality service. Would not go anywhere else now I have been here. Angie was lovely, very easy to get along with and work with. Not only are her artistic /tattooing skills fantastic, her hygiene practices are absolutely spot on. She is friendly, reassuring and willing to talk about future work I wanted doing for scar coverage and about what was realistic and how it could be done so I will definitely be back for more work over the next few months. I am extremely happy with my tattoos, artistically they are perfect and her aftercare advice was helpful too. I won't post pictures now as they are a few days into healing process. Only downside, unfortunately, is the long wait for an appointment but that is further testament to how popular and highly rated they must be that everyone wants to go there. Will definitely be back as soon as possible. Thanks Angie and all at North Star.
