   I had my helix pierced here just under a week ago. It was done by Mel/James and it was a lovely experience. It was my first piercing not including my lobe when I was about 7 years old. He put me completely at ease, checked where I wanted the placement (he gave me a mirror so I could see) and let my mum and sister stand close by in case I needed them (I didn't...the piercing was a millisecond of 1/10 pain and then it was over). He talked me through the reasoning of putting a bigger bar in my ear just in case of swelling (which I have had none of thus far). Then I paid and we were done! The whole thing took about ten minutes! Thanks Wild Style I will be coming back when I'm back up north!

   Myself and my partner were lucky enough to get a last minute walk in tattood by Mel. Very friendly and great work as expected. My first tattoo in around 8 years and my partners first tattoo ever and we are both delighted. We'll be back again for more ink soon, thanks!

   Do NOT get pierced here. I went in when passing on impulse. I asked for a cartlidge piercing - it was £20 but you get what you pay for. The piercing ‘studio’ is a tiny half-closed area at the back of the shop. It was dark, cluttered, and not clean enough. An immediate red flag, but I didn’t feel comfortable to back out at that point. The piercer did not pierce where I had asked for, but rather a few cm lower. She didn’t ask if I wanted to check where she had marked before going in to pierce it - I had to tell her I wanted to check the placement, and she seemed confused at this. When she had pierced my ear, the process of which was fine, I asked her if the bar was long enough. It felt like it didn’t leave enough room for swelling, but she assured me it was fine. And now, a month later, I ran into a different piercing shop and asked them for advice - immediately upon seeing my inflamed ear, they told me they would need to take it out immediately as it was at risk of being swallowed by my skin, which would have led to surgical removal being necessary. Also, it was infected. 2/5 stars because MAYBE the tattoo artists are competent. However, this piercer is NOT.

   I’ve just got my first tattoo here and it was a great experience. Very nicely set out place with a calming atmosphere. Got a line work swallow tattoo on my upper arm and not only did it go by quickly but it also was done very gently with minimal pain. Very clear instructions for aftercare. Thank you very much!

   Absolutely amazing place. Very friendly and chatty making the atmosphere very comfortable and welcoming. Beth has completely astounded me with the amazing work she did today on a piece of work from a photograph on my phone, it was a very special and sentimental photo of a moment with my father and I in the days before he passed away. I honestly can't give her the amount of gratitude and respect that she so very much deserves as it is just out this world how very amazed I am with the quality of the ink I had done today. I massively appreciate the care and professionalism of your work with such a special tattoo which is hugely a very meaningful and important piece of work to me. I will definitely be back and have nothing but positive feelings and trust in the work that they do. A massive thank you for the most important and special tattoo that I will ever have done. 100% recommend to anyone. Thank you guys for the whole experience I received from the whole team today.
