   The staff at knowsley credit union are rude and have a bad attitude they way they speak to customers is absolutely appalling. They act like its there money and argue with there customers when asked simple questions. Everytime I call about simple questions they are not friendly. The time to get your load is appalling also . 2 weeks is not acceptable. An there reply is always they are bissy. . I would not recommend anyone to use this company. Do not let them have your money. Its a scam 10 years iv been with them. They take ten pence a week also . You can't with draw anything less than ten pound as you have to leave 5 pounds in to keep ya account open so they make off your money.

   Getting any form of reply from these people is near to impossible. The guy i had dealings with, in effect, lied to me. 9 months down the road and I'm still waiting for any kind of reply. Wanted to give zero stars. This outfit let me down totally when i needed help the most. I wonder if i will get reply now.

   Never ever have i encountered such a prompt, polite and patient member of staff as "Greg", somewhere in the enquiries dept. His responses via email - all i can say is he is so fast i wish i could type as fast as him!!! A true asset to the company in every way. I hope he gets recognized and appreciated by the boss, he certainly should do. Thank you Greg for your patience, time, understanding and prompt replies. Amazing.

   Thought it was supposed to help local people become more money-wise and frugal. Truth is, saving the credit union cost me 10p a week to save, then was asked to pay £1.00 per month to go into some competition. So, to save a few hundred quid, cost me £17.20p a year. I closed the account and moved the savings to the Post Office and now earn a small bit of interest a year instead of being fleeced. Place is used by people to get loans, sure its better than most APR rates but still expensive. There are enough poor people in Kirkby to keep them busy.
