   Only 2 stars, would give 0 to Gill who we were unfortunate enough to encounter on our final check up. Such a shame as the other reception staff were extremely helpful & went over and above. Excellent service from the vets too, expensive but i felt my dog was in good hands. Such a shame Gill lets the team down with her sour face & bad attitude. Dont appreciate being spoken down too by admin esp after hvg spent the best part of a thousand pounds. Couldnt recommend esp with big dogs as was made to feel unwelcome & awkward (after hvg paid obvs lol) Shame on you Gill. Having more than 1 dog you also cost the practice money as i wd avoid in the future. Do everyone a favour & retire, you cleatly dont want to be there.

   We recently had to take our 8 month old puppy in to the emergency vets at Rutland House late night on a Sunday. Everyone we have dealt with, reception team and nurses included, has been so kind and helpful. The vet we saw, Gerrard really took his time listening to us, speaking to us, assessing our puppy and providing advice. We were terrified when we came in as we didn’t know what was wrong with our puppy but left feeling like we had a potential diagnosis, plan of action to follow up with our usual vets and pain relief to help our pup through the night, Thank you so much everyone at Rutland House vets, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to family and friends.

   Our first time coming here yesterday due to an emergency with our dachshund Stan - the receptionist we spoke to was so lovely and gave us the advice we needed. Got booked in to see the vet within an hour. The receptionist’s are so friendly and so are all the staff who work at this hospital. Stan was treated by Charlie & Ellie and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Such lovely girls and so informative with everything / amazing with Stan. Would highly recommend Rutland House - thank you for all your help☺️

   Took my parrotlet Bonnie to see Dr Molly today- she is a phenomenal vet with such a relaxing approach. I was so nervous about my Bonnie being handled and she did it with such ease and even clipped his nails without any issues. She really took the time to talk in depth about nutrition and go over any questions I had. This is the first bird I’ve ever owned so it was amazing to talk to someone with so much knowledge and experience. She has her own parrot so definitely understands! Couldn’t recommend her enough.

   Absolutely disappointed and disgusted with the service delivered to my daughter, she took her pet in as a emergency and got told they didn’t have time to look at her pet and would look later and ring her, the poor girl was distort where the the customer service, she received a call two days later telling her she had 5 minutes to make a decision on putting her pet down, thankfully I was there to ring them back and the treated me completely different and gave me more than 5 minutes to help her decide, After her pet was put to sleep we pick him up in a used cardboard box see photos and it wasn’t even sealed, her poor pet wasn’t even cleaned, had dry blood around his nose and mouth and dirty backside, after paying a lot of money and the fact a pet was put to sleep that she loved with all her hart, where was the customer care and respect DISGUSTING

   Just a massive, heartfelt Thank You. Rushed my dog, Mack into Rutland over Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend after he had inadvertently ingested a discarded package of Ketamine or Cocaine during our daily walk on Colliers Moss. I was distraught. Although not registered with Rutland, they took him on immediately and began treatment. All staff were so, so wonderful and caring. I was beside myself as I recognised the severity of the situation. But all staff were just amazing - despite being on skeleton staff, dealing with another emergency and facing awful abuse from a disgruntled client. Am now in the process of transferring my dog to Rutland as I was so impressed. Massive shout out to lovely vet, Adrienne. Happily, Mack is back to his bouncy self. X

   We've had our rabbit Pumpkin in and out of the vets for over a year now due to facial abscesses. We've always found the staff very friendly and Molly in particular seems to really care about him. Prices have always been very reasonable considering we don't have insurance for him. Had a lot of pets over the years and been to a lot of vets but this is definitely the best.

   Rutland House has been our family's vets for all of our dogs for close to 20 years. They have been exceptional. They have given us practical advice on treatments that are kindest for our dogs and even recommend medications we could get ourselves cheaper than they could prescribe. Always felt listened to and looked after by the vets. They have provided excellent care for our current dog, Dolly, who needs complex treatment for a skin condition that would otherwise have left her in constant discomfort and illness. She's doing great now! And always happy to see the vets, which is nice. And when it sadly come time to put our last two dogs to sleep, Barney and Daisy, they made sure that they were as comfortable as possible, no pain or suffering and with Daisy they gave us invaluable time with her on her last day at home, as the medication they gave us made her as close to her old self as possible, one last time. I will always be grateful for that. Personally, I wouldn't recommend anywhere else. Thank you, Rutland House, for looking after us and our furry family members over the years.
