Absolutely they are life savers - my Christmas Day emergency was dealt with swiftly - I can’t thank them enough - one of my little girls had swallowed a chunk of lamb bone - which caused a bowel obstruction and massive bleed - it was so scary … They truly were a Christmas Miracle life savers xxx

Went on a Saturday night. They treated my dog quickly and efficiently. All was fine. They do insurance paperwork for you too which is great. I also witnessed amazing compassion from the lady on reception, I don't recall her name but she is an asset to Vets Now, they should be proud to have her.

Thank you so much for taking care of Atlas for two nights. He is doing so much better now and it was a joy to see him so alert after the second night. The staff were all lovely and kind and clearly took very good care of Atlas, giving him lots of much needed attention and fuss during his recovery.

AWFUL do not go here at all. they nearly killed my cat. she had pyometra and they missed it on the scan because they didn’t do it properly sent us home with tablets for her to take, a few days later my cat ended up in terrible condition and nearly died from the pyometra. took her to our vets and they said it is the worst pyo they have ever seen and in the youngest cat they have ever seen and it should have been picked up on the scan that the pdsa did. she had to have emergency surgery and is now recovering. DO NOT take ur pet here if it’s the last thing u do it is not worth it

Found this please on Google about 12 miles from me open 24 hours. I phoned first got a appointment within an hour great. Found all the staff and vets nice and friendly, helpful. They treated Teddy very straight away. If you need an out of hours vet this is the place. Teddy home now recovering.

Firstly I'd like to thank the staff for being so nice and helpful when i phoned. Very quick response. The vet was very gentle with Mochi and tried his best to fix her prolapse twice. Tried everything we could do to save her. Vet was very nice and calm and knew how to handle Mochi. We paid £250 for consultation and 2 minor surgery's with some injections which I think is quite reasonable price.

I understand that any negative review is a persons right and nearly all are only as a financial result. It’s important that we don’t let the financial hurdle tarnish the work that these out of hours vets do. 4am Xmas morning took my dog in with what I thought was a cough, 5 minutes later I was being told he may need to be put to sleep. I realise the costs are high and I’m a premium insurance holder we’re I only pay £115 excess yet I’m told I still have to pay 25-30% upfront first bill £1200. Anyway I paid £300 and I got my dog next day after staying in. He seemed ok again but very wheezy then a series of visits to my local vets and it was literally a question mark on everyone’s mind as no one. Hold pin point what was going on. 2nights ago I had to go back to vets now Liverpool and once again told 25% of £2000. I did have a back and fourth with the vet. And I wasn’t thinking clear as I was so worried I was about to lose my dog. She was very stern a female Scottish vet think her name Miriam or marrian. It’s not down to the vet to run the business it’s not even her rules she’s an employee and they CAN NOT take ownership of the animal if you don’t agree to conditions and that’s not the vet it’s the rule and I realised this. 5 vets have seen duke and no one could nail down. Miriam I thought would put him down as I felt she was strict too strict and it was a concern. Not only did I get duke back my local vet come and seen me and said that vets now and the vet Miriam has done some incredible work on him through the night and crossed all the T’s and dot the I’s and then she got specialists involved as she wouldn’t allow euthanasia to take place until she turned every stone. My vets couldn’t believe the work she had done on a single night. My dog on Xmas diagnosed with heart condition Then a week later they said respiratory 2nights ago Mariam found out it was pneumonia leading to respiratory failings caused from the gums. She prescribed incredibly important antibiotics that have so far worked and this is the first night I’ve seen him have his cough but also be able to control it. Honestly I can not thank what this lady and the establishment themselves did. I do understand the financial aspect for people who have insurance and then find out there’s large sums to pay still and you get it back from insurance but that’s a business model, don’t let that get in the way of what outstanding work they do. Thank you all Gaz & Duke

We came here for a second opinion and they saved our dog's life. Proper tests were ran and full examination, our concerns were taken seriously and I can't thank the vet we had enough for being so thorough. Our girl was in emergency life saving surgery the next day and had we taken the opinion of the first vet's we saw, our dog would have likely passed away because of a misdiagnoisis. Thank you so much

Vets Now Huyton were amazing. They identified a fatal illness that my vet had missed in 3 appointments and took exceptionally good care of our dog. They tried to manage our costs and if this were a full time practice, we would definitely be moving our pets under their care. Big thanks especially to Laura and Lesley

Treatment for my puppy was as expected, reviewed ear and gave some medication. We were referred because our normal vet had no appts on a Saturday afternoon. Thankfully my insurance company paid the bill of £290 but I was then sent a £25 bill for the completion of my insurance documentation. Considering what we had already paid which included £185 out of hours charge I feel we have been scammed. They seem to just want to make as much money as possible. Very disappointed.
