My 3 small dogs have stayed here 3 or 4 times and they love it. They are looked after really well. They are booked in again for May 2026. Staff are lovely. One of them goes into doggie day care while they staying he loves it.
Our dog Bella just had a lovely time here. Thanks to all the staff who sent regular updates and photos whilst we were away. She came home today in excellent condition and we would certainly recommend their services. We will be returning.
Great kennels for our dog Max, who has taken to the staff fantastically and happily trots away for his holidays now, no easy feat given how clingy he can be. The staff keep us well updated on how stays go, and the drop off and pick up times are convenient. Any messages or updates necessary are provided quickly and easily. We wouldn't look to send our dog elsewhere now.
My dog stayed here for one night last weekend. We were nervous about leaving him as he has never stayed over anywhere else before and he was abit anxious going in. But shortly after we received lots of photos of him on his walk in their enclosed field having a fab time! On pick up they said he was fine and didn’t cause any issues at all. They were very helpful with any questions you have prior to the arrival also. Would definitely recommend and already have booked him in again.
Excellent service and fantastic communication about our pets stay. Felt more than comfortable leaving Buddy in their capable hands. Would highly recommend!!
Both our cat and dog use the facilities at Upholland including cattery, doggy day care and grooming services. Its second to none this place, all the staff are knowledgeable and very friendly and we have peace of mind when going on holiday and leaving our cat in cattery that he is being looked after properly.

Hugely recommended, my two dogs Quincy and Teddy absolutely loved it . The dogs are well looked after and the facilities were the dogs sleep and have their daycare play is amazing and well maintained. The people that run it have a very good knowledge of dogs and make sure that they know the needs of the dogs before hand . It is good how they send daily updates of the dogs to ensure that you can see them having fun on their holiday .
I was very nervous about leaving my staffy Mabel in kennels for the first time. She's a big softie, loves her cuddles and home comforts and goes totally hyper with excitement whenever she's somewhere new or meets new people. I felt awful about having to leave her in kennels. As soon as I spoke to Debbie and the staff at Upholland kennels they totally put my mind at ease. They were so understanding and accommodating. When the time came to leave Mabel with them, they were friendly and helpful. I was able to put anything I wanted in Mabel's room so we put in her crate with fluffy blankets and a few toys. The kennels themselves are spacious and warm and the dogs there seemed chilled and happy. Mabel loves playing with other dogs so during her stay she was temperament tested, to check she was friendly with other dogs, which she was and then Debbie and the team slowly introduced Mabel to the dogs in daycare. They sent me lots of photos of her making new friends which was brilliant. When I picked her up after her stay in the kennels Mabel was happy and content. She was even following Debbie around! I actually think it did Mabel some good staying at Upholland kennels as she came back more confident and relaxed. It's never going to be an easy thing to leave your dog in kennels but I can honestly say I feel so reassured now that whenever I need to put Mabel in again she will be well looked after and happy. I highly recommend Upholland kennels and I wish them every success because of their outstanding service and professionalism.
