Just returned from our stay at Cheltenham lodge and have nothing but praise for it. Both Ann and David were warm, welcoming and engaging towards both myself and my young children. They were incredibly helpful in making sure our time in Chester was enjoyed to the maximum and their hospitality truly is faultless. The room is of a Victorian fashion and although some furnishings had a slightly worn look I personally felt this added to both the style and the character of the room. Beautiful and very spacious with a homely feel. The bathroom was a nice size and was very clean. Breakfast was lovely and there were options to suit all. David does a fantastic job of keeping everyone entertained in the dining room, my young children seemed to be particularly impressed. Overall I would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying here.
