Great Team that are so helpful and friendly. I was worried about were to take my 2 scotties and am so glad I took them here. I love the way they are cut. Lot's of folk pass comment about how lovely the cuts are. Would not take them anywhere else. They are a 5 star team (would give more stars if I could), thank you.
Really friendly and patient staff. Makes my pup feel relaxed and takes their time. Pup has been for a puppy groom and then a nail clip which they did in the front, they gave me advice and really took their time to put her at ease.
Wanted to be fair and give this place a second chance after they clipped my golden retriever’s nails SO quickly without paying attention and cutting his quick last year. So we went back a few days ago, explained what happened last time, and asked them to be careful. Sure enough, he’s here bleeding and it won’t stop with a nail FAR too short. Costs a small fortune in hibiscrub and vet powder and boots and they’re never apologetic, they just want you out the door. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend them.
Amazing place. The ladies that work there are so kind and caring. I can't thank them enough. I took my Border Collie who is 15 yrs old and is still recovering from a stroke he had before Christmas. I asked for him to be full groomed with a few additions to help with his age. He hadn't been for a long while and needed a good groom. They advised us for a longer slot to accommodate him, and let him rest. Great idea that I didn't think of. I thought his coat wasn't great going in so I wasn't expecting miracles, clean and tidier would of been enough. But no, with the patience and care they showed to him he came out of there gleaming looking a million dollars. He was so full of beans I was shocked, I thought he would be tired out but he has been so happy and it's all down to the ladies in the groom room today. This was his first trip beyond our road and the first time I have left him and I wouldn't of trusted anyone else. Thank you so much everyone you have given George a new lease of life with confidence, and he looks like a 7yr old.
My British bulldog was covered in hot spots and skin problems after a groom there. Cost a fortune in vet bills and my baby was so stressed. I will NEVER go there again.
Cut my Cocker Spaniel absolutely horrendously. He was left on his own while the groomer went to get a member of staff while we waited. He was screaming to see us (separation anxiety) bouncing all over the place so we couldn't see the cut Called to complain about the long patches on his back and around his bits. No answer, after 3 calls left a message, asking them to call back.. still no call back Complained to Pets At Home Customer Service who said they'd contacted the groomers and that they were going to contact me. 6 days later no call, no nothing. Can't really go back to have him finished off probably as our other dog has now had pups, we are going to be having viewers round to see pups and Dad looks like a scruff! No where around has availability, we had to wait 4 weeks for this appointment in the first place. On the day, they seemed short staffed and rushing around.. why not explain to customers they're short staffed and the groom may take half an hour longer? After a perfect cut the time before, if this would have been faced and sorted I would go back again.. but considering they don't have the gumption to call back after I'd left a voicemail asking (and to cancel future appointments, which has been done, so they got the message), I won't be taking either of my Cockers there again.
