   I first met Andy Birley when I was in my early 30’s and I had done nothing proactive with my pension or personal finance. Andy asked me when I wanted to retire, I said 50. He then laid out a plan that would allow me to achieve this financially if I stuck to the investment schedule he laid out. I ended up retiring at 52, by choice and Andy delivered on his part of the deal, ensuring I had sufficient funds in my pension and investments to withdraw sufficient annual payments from 55, whilst feeling confident that I will have sufficient returns to complete my retirement in a style that I require. What I have appreciated most from Andy has been his clear advice, simple plan and he has conducted his approach with me in a way that suits my outlook.
