   I absolutely don’t recommend this company. Dealing with Ms Alice Mason is extremely problematic. Since 20/03/2022 when I got an alert to get the business data together for my Tax return I responded on the same day that I am still putting the data together. On 15/05 I sent all data and asked for confirmation if the data were received. No response. 01/06 I found a datasheet in the online system which I was supposed to fill although I had not received any such instruction. I asked for assistance with filling this tab. No response. 13/06 I sent another email to ask about my Tax return. No response. 15/06 same as above. No response. 21/06 I contacted Alice again. I got a response that the Tax return would be completed within a week for my check. No communication received since. 27/06 I asked again about my Tax return and I got a response that no Tax return could be completed because I didn’t fill the tab. I had asked about this tab on 01/06 and requested help with some points. Despite not receiving any support, I filled and sent the tab back on the same day. 29/06 I received an email informing me about the need to fill my Tax return. I responded that I would love to fill it but nobody from the Biking Bookkeeper was able to assist me with this despite having sent all my financial data a while ago. On the same day I received an email with preliminary Tax return which was not correct so I requested to review this and correct the data. Instead of this I received an email on 30/06 with a link to access and sign my Tax return. I had tried to contact Alice over the phone on many occasions during the above period but the phone calls were always rejected. Nobody ever bothered to ring back. 30/06 I also sent an email and requested that someone gets in touch with me. No response. On the same day I therefore sent my notice of terminating the contract with this company. I stated that I would only continue with them if I am allocated a different accountant. No response. Finally, the company have sent me an invoice for completion of my Tax return even if I had to get it done by a different accounant from a different company. To date I have received two notices that I need to pay for the invoice. At the end, I decided to pay for the invoice although no Tax return was completed with this company and so I ended up paying for my Tax return twice. If you still decide to choose Biking Bookkeeper to assist with your taxes or other financial issues, do certainly ask for someone else than Ms Alice Mason.
