   Called this electrician out because our storage heater wasn't working. They couldn't repair it so I bought a panel heater to replace it. Was quoted £70 to install which I thought was fair. Invoice was sent in the post (they don't do emails) and the cost was £145, more than double what was quoted. No explanation given. Called up and wife answered (she deals with the business end of things), and she said it took longer than they thought it would (again no explanation why) and it included the cost of the first visit. However that visit took less than half an hour and all he did was check the fuses and rewire a plug. I've had panel heaters installed for much less. Eventually managed to get the price down to £100 but was a lot of stress and hassle. Won't be using them again due to poor communication and unprofessional charging practices.
