   If there was a minus Start available I'd use that as 1 Star is too much My Complaint – VW 19” Allows with one wheel having a gouge 4 x Kumo Tyres Purchased online from Black Circes fitted Jeffreys Performance Tyres in Latchford Warrington part Prot-Tyre Group A very bad experience and left now spending time and cost on legal redress and will be heavily out of pocket for Allow wheel Refurbishment / repair at my cost, be very careful. After submitting images of damaged alloys to Black Circles Customer Support: - this is a section of the response I received from Kelli - The damage on the alloy is not consistent with the tyre fitting process and would not be damage caused from the machinery or the tools used. The evidence provided shows to be corroded and has oxidised; this would suggest the damage is old and could have been caused from kerbing/other external factors. My response: - I believe you have not looked at the photographs I have provided as your comments are not representative of the images/photographs I submitted. There is no way a wheel could be so severely damage on a kerb given the angle the “Gouge” in the allow and in addition it would be impossible not to have sustained any damage / abrasions to the tyre. Clearly this damage was caused when the Tyre was in tyre machine and deflated! There is absolutely no corrosion or oxidisation on the images / photographs I submitted and the “Gouging to the Bare Metal” is clear bright allow material, this makes me believe you have not looked at the photographs. Response from Black Circles: - After a careful review from ourselves and our technical team, we will not be proceeding further with your damage claim, I do apologise for any frustration this may cause.

   This used to be my go-to place for all my car needs, from services to MOTs and any necessary repairs. However, my most recent encounter has left me feeling pretty disappointed, to say the least. The quality of work seemed to have declined significantly, and the customer service was far from what I expected. Now I'm on the hunt for a new place to take care of my vehicle, hoping for a better experience. I'm definitely reconsidering my options after this. And im going to have to go to another reliable garage to correct the work they have done because they have left my vehicle unroad worthy after paying £1200. Absoultey shocking service and id stay well away

   I booked a free suspension check on 22 May 2025 and was told everything was fine. I trusted their check fully, but when my MOT came up on 15 September, the car failed due to a serious rear shock leak. If they had told me back in May, I would have replaced it straight away and avoided wasting time and paying for a second MOT. Very disappointed with the lack of thoroughness.

   Took a loose wheel in for puncture repair, hadn’t realised it needed booking in but they were still able to accommodate me which was helpful. Sadly when I got the wheel back it looked like they’d used a screwdriver to remove the stick-on wheel weights causing 2 patches of heavy scratches inside the rim. I’d have removed the weights myself but places often mark the tyre and refit in same place to save rebalancing after a repair. Very doubtful I’ll go there again

   Use to be my go to dealer, but recently I have experienced two cases of poor service. One - had two tires booked in to be fitted a week in advance, turn up on the day I booked off and they only had one tire in stock, so had to come back the next day. Two - MOT booked a month in advance but get a call the day before saying there is no MOT tester avaialble to be able to complete it. Reliability of service has really gone down hill recently and is making me debate going to other dealers where I know the job will be done as booked.

   Having moved to Warrington in the past year I previously used ProTyre in my old place and always had a good experience. Therefore started using ProTyre for services etc and have had an even better experience. This garage is extremely busy due to the popularity and that's because they clearly have a passion for what they do along with strong knowledge of their field. I dropped by on Friday to show an issue my car tyre had picked up, spoke with Neil who straight away dropped everything to come have a look. He booked me in for the next day. On the Saturday I arrived and was offered drinks while I waited, more people came in with punctures etc and they were open to helping everyone. The issue itself was extremely hard to spot but Neil took the time exhausting every avenue until he had the solution. A great service all round and I fully recommend.
