As always, Paul did an awesome mapping session on both cars. A great day spent making the music of my people.
He said to be there for 10:30-11am so we did. Then told me I was really early. I was with my 5yr old. We waited a good 2 hours before he got the car strapped on. Then his Irish friends arrived and Paul literally just left us stood there for over another hour before I said c'mon mate. By this time it was about 2pm. Then he starts ripping my engine apart saying there's a misfire. Which I knew there wasn't. He said the same to the customer before who ended up with a massive bill on top of his map. I've ended up with a defective map3 which stutters and judders because my issue was a slightly off clutch pedal sensor which he diagnosed just as he finished the map. A job that took me two seconds to adjust at a later date. Why didn't he just do that while we was there! The guy does know his stuff but it was a negative experience. Also I keep my oil topped up just below the max like and he insisted he put almost another whole litre of oil in it. I don't like the guy.
Paid for a remap for my R18 Honda. Map stopped the reverse gear lock out from working. Also stopped the cruise control from working. I was one of the first to get this remap and it didn't state this on his website when I bought it (it does now). I sent my ECU back for a refund which I got, but he never posted my ECU back! Absolute crook.
