    Dishwasher problem - first visit hadn’t sorted it fully but they came round again a couple of days later and resolved at no extra charge. Engineer was a lovely guy and will definitely use again.

    Thoroughly recommend EDAS. Quick response to a broken dishwasher. Problem identified quickly and repaired on the spot and reasonably priced. Wouldn't use anyone else.

    To be honest avoid. I gave them every possible chance but the person they assigned to my issue was useless. Reception lady was very welcoming made me feel that my issue could be resolved Swifty and that someone would be available to fix 2 days after calling. Which initially was 2 weeks before Christmas. The man they assigned just appeared on the day when I was told I would get a call because I work from home and we basically started again accept he didn’t even have a pen and paper to take the issue down. I gave him my serial and model number again and I was assured he will come back to me in a couple of days. Initial enquiry was raised around the 16th of December. I call again around the 22nd as I hadn’t heard anything and shocker! He had lost his paper with my details on. So we started again. Understandably he couldn’t get anything done before the Christmas break but assured me it’s all in hand. Fast forward a little bit to 3rd of Jan. I call again and leave a message and he just pops round the day after and we pretty much start the cycle again. Only this time he couldn’t get a part from his regular supplier and he needed to try a different one and yes, you’ve guessed it. He asked for all the details again. I gave them one last chance before I moved house and the communication has been none exsist. Left several voicemails and then ended up calling someone else. If you can’t get organised in 2024, then I don’t think there is much hope. I hardly write reviews either but I felt compelled to highlight this appalling service.

    Spoke to somebody on the phone who told me they didn't know how much it would be to repair my washing machine, but they would discuss with me before they did anything. A man turned up, fixed it then said it would be Β£69.95! He didn't use any new parts, just removed a colour catcher that was stuck. I asked for a breakdown of costs, he said oh that's the call out fee. This should have been explained to me when I rang and stated on the website.

    I've used EDAS for years and wouldn't dream of using anyone else. A couple of years ago the plastic knob on my 30 year old Bosch washing machine refused to turn, EDAS saved me a fortune by finding a replacement. Wonderful family owned business.

    Called Edas on Saturday, came out to repair dishwasher on Wednesday, arrived within time slot given, extremely happy with service and swift repair, great value for money, would recommended.

    Called Edas as my dishwasher wasn't working, when I called to book the appointment for someone to come have a look I was advised it will be Β£35 and if he can fix it while he was there he will. If the man had to come back and buy parts he will let me know when he was here. I agreed and got the 35 from my landlord, hoping that it could be fixed without a return visit being needed. The man turned up (this was not the man I spoke to on the phone) he was very polite and managed to fix the dishwasher whilst here. So I said its 35. The man said sorry, its actually 69.something.. (lets just say 70) if he was able to fix it there and then. I was confused because the man I spoke to did not mention this and I didnt actually have the money so had to go into an unplanned overdraft to afford this. My family advised me to call EDAS and ask for the money back (the extra I paid). I was not told it would cost extra and apologies if this is just something I should know.. that there would be more of a charge, but for the less than 20 minutes he was here. I was not expecting more of a charge unless parts and a return visit were booked in. I did ring EDAS back but to just ask if they would inform the next customers that there would be more of a charge if the item could be fixed. I was met with sarcasm and rudeness from the man who originally took my appointment. This reaction was very unprofessional and I feel that when you deal with a company there should be full transparency with costs. The guy that came to the house was lovely and think he should deal with the customers on the phone too.
