   Elliot at Tailored Journeys arranged our honeymoon to Southern Africa at quite short notice. The booking experience was first rate. He met with us by video call to understand what we were looking for, asking lots of questions to make sure he got it right. He then came back within a day or so with a proposed itinerary which pretty much hit the spot. We were impressed by his detailed on the ground knowledge of the various destinations we wanted to visit and was able to add considerable value on accommodation, activities and most of all logistics (we had seven flights in two weeks!). After a number of iterations we settled on an itinerary which was perfect for us. We have now arrived back from our trip which was very much a five star experience, exceeding our expectations in many respects. We covered four centres - Cape Town, Franschhoek, Botswana (safari in the Okavango Delta) and finally Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Each was excellent in its own way and the various connections, transfers and excursions were of a high quality. There were no major issues and any minor queries along the way were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Overall, we had a fantastic trip and would have no hesitation in recommending Tailored Journeys.

   We have been planning our trip to Japan for two years and came across Manoj and his team at Tailored Journeys. Immediately he listened and understood how we wished to plan our trip. He produced a detailed itinerary that was perfect. We had the most amazing time Japan, we then flew to South Korea. Unfortunately I fell over and broke my knee cap and could not walk. Manoj totally supported us with changing hotels, flight assistance, wheelchairs, changing cars, the list was endless. We cannot thank him enough.    Catrina from Tailored Journeys Ltd organised our wonderful trip to South Africa. The whole holiday was perfect. The V&A hotel at The Waterfront in Cape Town was our first stay and was a wonderful start to our holiday. Loved our next stay in Franschhoek and visiting some of the vineyards. Had a wonderful time wine tasting at Babylonstoren. Our holiday culminated in a wonderful stay at Bushman’s Kloof in the Cederberg mountains. What a relaxing, special place. We were taken out for drives in the grounds seeing various wildlife. The food at the lodge was absolutely delicious, and the spa treatments were heavenly. Would definitely book with Catrina and Tailored Journeys again

   A Well-Organised and Enjoyable Holiday in Sri Lanka From the start, the holiday was well presented, with a detailed itinerary shown on a large TV screen in a private room at the office in Berkhamsted. This gave us a good idea of what to expect. The itinerary was varied, with a mix of sightseeing, culture, elephants and time to relax. A particularly useful feature was the app provided by the company, which allowed us to check our itinerary on the go, on our phones ,rather than relying on paper documents. All the accommodation was of a high standard, mostly boutique hotels that were full of character. Many featured four-poster beds and all had swimming pools. Our driver-guide was reliable and with us throughout the trip, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food was very good wherever we went. European cuisine was available everywhere we stayed, but we favoured the local curries, which were delicious. Overall, Manju organised a wonderful bespoke TAILORED JOURNEY. Highly recommended.

   Booked our honeymoon to South Africa through Tailored Journeys and couldn’t recommend their services enough! Throughout the planning stages they listened to what we wanted to create our bespoke itinerary and it was so easy to see how the trip would work with the itinerary page they set up for us- which included: flights, transfers, accommodation details. We were also able to share this with our wedding guests who could gift money or experiences towards our honeymoon. Our trip ran so smoothly and was a once in a lifetime experience- we stayed in the most beautiful places and had the best experiences. We are so thankful to Manoj and the team for everything they did.

   Manoj at Tailored Journeys provided our family with excellent customer service. Due to COVID-19, we had to reschedule our holiday and then, because our destination was not on the approved foreign office list, we changed to another destination. Throughout, Manoj was quick and efficient and provided us with clear information. Perhaps most impressive of all was the fact that Tailored Journeys refunded us the cost of our flights and deposit BEFORE they had received the refund from the airline and resort! We can’t recommend them highly enough and would definitely use their services in the future.

   we have had an excellent experience with Manoj and his team. we planned our holiday to Sri Lanka a couple of years ago; we wanted to change a few areas of the itinerary and this was accommodated with no problems at all by Tailored Journeys. Unfortunately we haven't been able to fulfill our itinerary, due to the Easter bombings in 2019 and Covid in 2020. However I have no doubt when we do eventually get to Sri Lanka it will be a holiday of a lifetime. In both of these cases our deposit has been returned to us with no problem at all. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tailored Journeys to anyone.

   We were told about Tailored Journeys by a colleague of mine when I asked about his Sri Lankan trip. On his recommendation we contacted Manoj and he put together an itinerary for us based on what we told him we were interested in. We left the UK on 6th March and returned on the 23rd just as the UK was closing down. The Si Lankan holiday was a wonderful experience with excellent hotels and organised expeditions and that was made even better by our driver/guide Sam who was a mine of information. The only draw-back was the cancellation of the Whale watching trip, but this was due to a government directive based on the Corona-19 pandemic. (Tailored Journeys’ refund was in our account within a couple of weeks without any problems, thanks). However, the most impressive aspect was the care and attention shown by Manoj and the people at Viluxur Holidays SL in monitoring the ongoing situation and keeping us informed and assured of what was happening both in Sri Lanka and the UK making it a stress free holiday.
