   I rented a villa in Vale do Lobo through Haven on Earth for a week in October and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The booking process was smooth, and communication from the team was excellent throughout. They were always quick to respond and incredibly helpful with every detail. Everything was perfectly organized before our arrival, making the whole stay stress-free. The villa itself was beautiful, spotless, and exactly as described. I can’t recommend Haven on Earth highly enough — truly a five-star experience from start to finish!

   Wonderful company - everything was great from start to finish. They really helped us find the right villas for us on the Costa Brava - we picked two for a two week holiday and they were both different but fabulous. I think that you find out the most about companies when things go wrong, and in one of the properties we had an issue with the electrics one morning; we tried to sort it out but realised it was tripping somewhere so I sent a quick message to Haven on Earth, hoping that they might be able to suggest something. They replied to me within 5 minutes and had an electrician out within the hour - that is exceptional service! They have some fantastic properties - something for every size of group. Will definitely be booking with them again.

The attention to detail, pre and post visit care and the genuine interest that I think one can only get from a family owned business, together result in me not even thinking about an alternative.    The villa was amazing and as advertised. The service and communication was excellent both for Haven on earth and Villa Algarve whilst there. All of my family and new grandaughter had a lovely family week. All requests for cot, hi-chair were all waiting for us in the villa. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Haven on earth and would definitely be booking with them again.

   I’ve found Haven On Earth an excellent company to deal with this year especially in such difficult times with Covid. At the booking stage they were extremely helpful being able to provide 1st hand advice and recommendations regarding their villas and locations. With Covid they were very understanding, they offered superb flexibility and reassurance when needed. The property we stayed at on the Costa Brava was tremendous and the directions / instructions / details were spot on. It was so nice we booked straight away for 2021. Certainly would recommend this company; hopefully they can widen their portfolio to include more properties in the Greek Islands! Certainly we will keep on using Haven as a result of the service we have experienced

   They were very easy to deal with and overall a good company, very friendly. However, keep in mind if you are from outside of the UK or Europe, you should be aware of a particular issue. We had to put a deposit down of 10,000 sterling for the house that we rented in Portugal. It was a high-end rental so I get that they were looking for a large damage deposit, but they put it on our Canadian credit card. We rented a house for a week, left it in impeccable shape, and in fact helped prevent the house from flooding one day. Everybody pitched in and cleaned up a huge mess of water that came from a ruptured water pipe on a broken bar fridge. In other words I think we were very good tenants for that week, and the property manager reported as such so a few weeks later we got our 10,000 Sterling back on the credit card. In the process we lost C$1000. In three weeks, that was a difference between buying/selling 10,000 sterling. To be fair to the company, it was largely the credit/bank gouginging us. I could’ve dealt with a couple hundred dollars, but $1000 seems ridiculous. It never occurred to us that we would lose that much money, and perhaps the company should warn people ahead of time that this could be an issue. We had rented many vacation homes before, and had only paid a damage deposit in cash or check or credit card hold. So buyer beware, and try to figure out a way that you won’t be out of pocket from a damage deposit.

   We booked a holiday for a large group in the Costa Brava, the advice we were given on booking the right accommodation and selecting the right resort was excellent. The management of the property and quality of accommodation was also outstanding. I would not hesitate to book again with Haven on Earth.
