   Exceptional service from start to finish! From planning, through to the end of our safari the team at Tailormade were there to provide all necessary advice, information and support to deliver an exceptional vacation. In the initial stages took time to understand our requirements and provide invaluable advice, based on his experience, to develop an itinerary for our Kenyan safari. This itinerary resulted in smaller, more intimate lodges/camps and maximising our time in Kenya. From the planning to the start of our safari, communication with the team at Tailormade works well, with questions answered and amendments to the itinerary accommodated. Once on vacation/safari the logistics are managed by the on-ground team who provided an excellent service from “meet and greet” to the return to the airport. But in support of the on-ground team you have updates, welcome messages, etc from Tailormade and are able to contact the team should the need arise (which didn’t happen). Post vacation there is a welcome back/follow up with Tailormade for feedback regarding your vacation, which adds to the overall travel experience. Tailormade provided a bespoke, personal and exceptional service, delivered with quality, we would highly recommend Tailormade.

   So glad we chose Tailormade Africa to help plan and expertly execute on a safari through Kenya and Tanzania. The safari was planned based on our needs and requests and Clyde and the team did not let us down. The trip was 5 star all the way with everything planned and coordinated to perfection.    Recently went on a safari trip to Zimbabwe. We had originally planned to go to Okavanga Delta, Botswana but due to the dry season it would have be difficult to be able to enjoy the game we would have hoped for. Clyde at Tailormade Africa (TA) therefore recommended a private concession in Hwange and also a lodge in Zambezi. Both recommendations turned out to be fabulous and our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the trip. All the planning, booking and logistics had been taken care of by TA and the whole trip went seamlessly well with no hiccups at all. The accommodation was of the very highest order and the guides were equally brilliant! The TA representative in Africa, Amy, was in touch which was very reassuring. We have no hesitation in recommending Clyde and TA. It was once in life time experience and they made sure we were not disappointed. Thank you to the TA team for the expericence.

   Our holiday was a dream 8 months in the making. We approached Rob and the team at Tailormade Africa for advice on how we could build a South African vacation around a Country Music concert we wanted to attend in Cape Town. We were a group of 4 (2 Couples) and didn’t know where to start planning. Tailormade Africa, right from the go, were brilliant. We gave them a few ideas of what we wanted to see, what our hobbies were, and what sort of budget we had in mind. From that we had back and forth dialogue to advise us what was available, what we should prioritise, and any other suggestions they had in mind for us. For all of our travelling party, we were novices to South African travel. So we put our dreams in the hands of the team. And boy did they deliver and then some! Tailormade Africa sent us an online itinerary of our 15 day vacation. Hotels, Transport, Safari .. everything in there that met our needs. There were even suggestions about excursions available if we were interested. We looked at those and chose a couple of extras and even those were Tailormade to our group! Everything was in hand and all we had to do was get on that plane to Cape Town. Once we landed, everything that was organised for us was perfect! We were met at the airport and taken right to our hotel. Any questions we had we just had to WhatsApp Rob and he was quick to give us advice and help! Even when we wanted to change our transport one morning to fit in a last minute activity, Rob made those last minute changes effortlessly! We can’t praise Rob and the team at Tailormade Africa enough. We had the best visit to the wine country, the most breathtaking Safari experience, and a wonderful last leg whale watching in Hermanus. We loved it so much, another holiday has already been booked! We can’t thank you enough x

   Rob put together the most incredible itinerary for our honeymoon. When we first decided that we wanted to honeymoon in South Africa, we found ourselves overwhelmed with decisions. We reached out to Tailormade Africa and let them know that we both had never been to Africa and that we needed some serious guidance! We had a video call with Rob who took the time to get to know us - listening to our interests, expectations and wishes. From there, he presented us with an itinerary perfectly suited to our personalities and travel interests. We spent time in Cape Town, Franschhoek and Hermanus – loving the diverse wildlife, wine and culinary scene each place offered. The highlight our of trip though would have to be our stays at Rhino Ridge Lodge and Thonga Beach Lodge. At both lodges the staff were friendly and provided a high level of service, the guides were knowledgeable, and the food exceeded our expectations. The lodges were intimate and offered us the perfect time to disconnect. There is nothing quite like the experience of being surrounded by giraffes, elephants, rhinos and many more living in their natural habitats! We ended up renting a car to self drive from destination to destination. Though we had our reservations at first about driving, we ended up loving it. It gave us the freedom to set our own timetable and at no point did we ever feel unsafe. We were both grateful not to be in a stuffy tour bus with a bunch of other people. Rob was always available on WhatsApp through our trip to check in and make sure everything was always to our liking. Though we didn’t run into any issues, it was comforting to know there was always support on hand. He even took the time to chat with us once we got back home to hear about our trip and any concerns, if we had any. We chose Tailormade Africa in hopes that they would offer us a personalized experience that the big tour groups lack, and they did not disappoint. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again! Thank you again, Rob, and Tailormade Africa for the honeymoon of a lifetime.

   A vacation that we will never forget! Our holiday with Tailor Made Safaris was simply great! When we received our tailor-made book, we were already enthusiastic, and we were looking forward to the holiday even more!
