   Slow service. The food was good, The restaurant was more than half empty and it took over 45 minutes for the pizzas to arrive (No starters). The kitchen was very busy. I assume delivery orders are get priority over dine in customers.. Frustrating when you've booked a quick bite before catching a show at the Forum.

   We had 2 pizzas in store a couple weeks ago which were amazing, along with the service. We decided to get 2 Romana takeaway pizzas tonight in their deal “buy one get a romana for £2.95” and they were both incredible, a lovely thin and crispy base with plenty of flavour-sum toppings, would definitely recommend! Also really good customer service when eating in and taking away, thanks a lot!

   Not so 'Express'. Went in as a group of four on a not busy Sunday for lunch, ordered starters drinks and pizza. The starters and drinks arrived relatively quickly, but there was a bit of a wait for the pizzas. It fell apart when it came to trying to get the bill though. We waited a fair while, trying to catch a servers attention. Finally waved enough to attract some attention, asked one who smiled and said 'Yes OK', and dissapeared. Two minutes later she was back clearing tables, no bill, no more eye contact. We waited another ten minutes and tracked someone else down. They sent over another server, who then needed a different handset to take payment. OK but not exceptional pizza, disorganised service.

   I only gave 2 stars for the service because the wait for our food was rather excessively long. To be fair, the child with us was served without much delay. The servers were pleasant but the waiting for the food was way too long. We were there for over 2 hours at lunch time and we only ordered pizzas and a dessert!

   We like visiting Pizza Express and generally enjoy the food. Some restaurants don't quite hot the mark though. This one in Bath was really good. Compared to others in the chain the food was better and pizza toppings were plentiful rather than lacking. Service was good and unusually quick, despite the busiest time of year. I would definitely go here again, if we're in the area. The only thing from a personal point of view (and this could be due to our choice of seating), it felt busy. I would prefer to have felt more focused on our table and our time there. However, I was very aware of how busy the place was, people moving around passing closely and I could feel the packed in kind of atmosphere. Overall though, one of the better restaurants in the chain and I definitely recommend.

   Warm welcome on arrival and quickly seated. Order was taken quickly and food arrived in a timely manner. Food was hot and tasty as always but one of our glasses had lipstick on it so clearly not been washed correctly. We didn’t complain as no one checked on us during our meal nor were we offered any condiments with our pizzas when they arrived. It appeared staff were to busy to have any customers interaction. Parking is available at the Southgate shopping centre

   I want to thank all the Bath Pizza Express staff at South Gate. We celebrated a teenage daughter's birthday with her friends. Upon arrival the table was ready. It's hard to impress a teenager these days, but the staff are truly fabulous! They learned to roll out and season their pizza, with lots of smiles and joy, thanks to the pizza chef I can't remember the name, forgive me ;-). great attention from Kathryn's waitress who was very good, precise, very nice, thanks for everything !! Fantastic food, excellent service, the kids enjoyed. I would recommend this restaurant to celebrate the party and also to have dinner for lunch!!

   Came this evening for my sons birthday and was blown away by how amazing the staff made it for him! I had called in the afternoon to check it was ok to bring a cake to the restaurant and on our arrival, there were balloons at the table and they did an amazing job at presenting the cake, bringing me plates and a knife to cut it after. The staff were super friendly and attentive and in the words of my son and his friends - it was ‘the best day ever!’ Thank you so much for making my son’s birthday extra special! ❤️
