I was a lone dinner and the staff made me feel super welcoming. The pizza was on point and the wine I had complimented the dish well.
Great experience at Cribbs Pizza Express yesterday, staff were fantastic especially the supervisor, despite being new to the restaurant she was doing a fantastic job and with the attitude you hope for when visiting a restaurant. Pizzas were delicious, love the duo romana to be able to have two different toppings! My only constructive criticism is that it would be great if the Romana were served on a warm plate as they go cold very quickly on a cold plate. Other than that, we were super happy with our visit ☺️
Pizza Express was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, but what truly made our visit memorable was the exceptional service we received from Sophie. Her friendly and attentive nature really elevated our dining experience. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made our time there even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Pizza Express, and if you're lucky enough to be served by Sophie, you're in for a treat!
Brief: Best sticky toffee pudding. Great deals for students on Unidays (25% off whole bill or £7.95 pizza), reasonable prices for standardly good food, great customer service. I come here often mainly for the sticky toffee pudding. I have yet to try another restaurants pudding that tops this one; HIGHLY recommend! Pricing in general here is alright, but it’s better for me as a student since I always have a 25% discount voucher handy. I recently tried their classic margarita pizza even though I’m not a big fan of pizza and I enjoyed it - the tomato sauce was actually the best part about it! Chicken parm & lasagne are good. You can see that the top of the lasagne was pretty burnt but I was too tired to request another one at the time. Restaurant is clean and the bathrooms are nice as well. The second best thing behind the pudding is the customer service since I’ve never had a dissatisfying experience. But specifically SHOUTOUT TO SOPHIE AND IVEA! Sophie has served me many times and I always enjoy chatting with her when I come in, she’s so nice and attentive. I was recently served by Ivea and they also made me feel very welcomed. If staff is reading this - hi!! It’s the girl with the blue NorthFace jacket :) I really only have good things to say about my visits to this PizzaExpress. Tip: Take the customer surveys!! I believe every time you submit your email to connect to the PizzaExpress wifi they email you a survey - they give free dough ball vouchers if you complete one! If I’m not here for the pudding I’m here getting takeaway dough balls lol.
I really enjoyed the experience in this Pizza Express restaurant, I was ordering food for 4 people and I had some vouchers to use, even it was quite busy the lady was so nice and gave me a chair and menu so I can select my order. The pizzas was super yummy and the s r ice was so polite, friendly and chilled. We had 4 pizzas, some sides and the best cheese cake I ever tried I will definitely come here for the quality of food and service.
The staff were absolutely fantastic! I haven't been to Pizza Express for years, however, I felt right at home! The waiting staff engaged with my daughter who pretended to be Elsa and freeze them. They were truly exceptional, also relayed by my cousin who joined us. I'm currently reheating my leftover slices and can't wait to be reminded of the fantastic flavours- I'm supposed to be going vegan but I know I'll come back for the Pollo Romano!! I can't wait to go back! Thank you so much!
The staff were pleasant and I really love the new PizzaExpress app, you can put in your table number and see your bill in real time and add any discount codes at the end. One thing I didn't like was how oily the food was, my pizza (the Calabrese) was dripping with oil in every piece I held so I don't recommend that. I also feel it should come with a warning that it has 32g of saturated fat (150% the daily recommendation). The doughball dip was also pretty oily for no reason and defiantly not worth almost £5 so just skip on the starters - although I liked that they were definitely handmade doughballs.
Not the worst option for lunch or an evening meal. Was greeted by a waiter and shown to our table in a swift manner. Although throughout the evening we felt his attitude was a little off and abrupt. This was shown more so when we had finished our meal and simply wanted to pay. No attention was shown to our table, which prompted me to download the Pizza Express app so we could simply settle the bill and continue with our evening. Not the best atmosphere and feel the staff could be slightly more welcoming and attentive. Food was good as expected but not the best experience from a chain restaurant.
Great welcoming staff who were very friendly throughout. Food was great, cheesy doughballs (weren't presented well but were fantastic), pulled pork bbq pizza and chocolate cake with ice cream. 9/10 would recommend :)
