My grandmother really wanted Italian food when we went to visit my uncle in Scotland. I saw that Gusti D'Italia had great reviews here on Google so I went with her. Oh my.. the food was nothing like what these pictures here look like and had this toxicity to it. Clearly wasn't fresh ingredients even if it was freshly cooked. The atmosphere felt like a bar that allows indoor smoking rather than a classy Italian restaurant. The place reeked of cigarette smoke which almost triggered my asthma, luckily I was fine. When my grandma complained to the alleged owner, the short guy with the funny accent who is certainly not Italian.. he was very cruel to her. This was the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant in Scotland. If you like good food, a nice dining atmosphere, and good service.. I strongly urge you to reconsider going to this restaurant or not.

Was in for dinner with family on Saturday 29th November. Absolutely loved my visit, food was delicious and service was bang on. We were all served promptly and efficiently by a lady who was an absolute delight (Sure her name was Julie/Julia) She made our visit. Engaged with all my family and she was very attentive.

We came from Edinburgh to sample some wedding cakes and after a quick scout of eateries, we decided to give Gusti DβItalia a try, and it did not disappoint. Super friendly, helpful staff with a warm, inviting atmosphereβ¦ Whenever I eat, 90% of the time I would always choose Italian, so I can be a little fussy if itβs not done a certain way (authentic way)β¦however, the food was OUTSTANDING. We had half a pizza pasta with a bruschetta starter, and it was so tasty. The carbonara tagliatelle was perfect, as was the pizza, served quickly and hot. Great menu with fantastic kids, desserts, and drink options too, and not expensive at all. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant. β β β β β

Christmas eve dinner. Kept passing by this place when we were booked into Premier Inn Hamilton a few times. But because hubby's work included dinner vouchers at the hotel, we never got the chance to eat here. So on Christmas eve, I finally called them, it was last minute but luckily they had a table free for us. It was a 2-course set menu, good options, I went for the meatballs and hubby went for the sausage meal. We both loved it, specially the meatball sauce was divine and the toast really complimented it. I wish I had another toast though to clean up that gorgeous tasting sauce! Haha Main was a creamy chicken in a brandy Peppercorn sauce and hubby went for pasta. Again another set of delicious plates. We ordered an extra 3rd course of tiramisu and ice cream with amarena cherries with tea and coffee to complete the night. It was a fabulous dinner. On payment, we got a free limoncello to complete our dinner. Thank you. Very lovely food and service. We will definitely come back.

The food tasted lovely but unfortunately just before midnight on the same day, I woke up sick and had an upset stomach for the following few days. I don't know if it was due to how rich the food was or a stomach bug but it wasn't pleasant at the time.

Was recommended this place by a staff member at the hotel I was staying at and I was not disappointed. Was welcomed by a lovely waitress (unsure of her name but I heard her say she was getting married soon). She was very attentive and looked after me well. I ordered the Penne Al Fredo and a side of garlic bread. I didn't have a long wait on the food, I noticed other diners didn't either which is good if you are in a hurry. The pasta dish was beautiful, good size portion and very hot. The waitress table checked and made sure everything was OK. Will definitely visit again if I'm in this area.

A great Italian! Really warm welcome and superb service. The wine was served with out hesitation. The two mains we ordered looked as if they had come just from Italy. The pizza was so fresh, cooked to perfection. Pasta was the other dish which did not fall far from perfection. A perfect selection on Italian wine decorate ls the walls, it is just the vibe you need. 100% would visit again.
