I think 1 star is generous I would highly not recommend fireaway unless you want to get sick there pizzas are awful the service is a joke they left my food at my door and didn’t chap or anything so my food was ice cold and had a hair in the pizza when I called the restaurant they were rude and unhelpful
Pizza was nice food was nice but there garlic pizza, i would avoid, not the best, very sick after a few bites, they have added to much garlic.
Chicken fajita was very nice, fresh and tasty and a good size, good value for money too as was under £10 and fries were included, lovely man serving at the counter was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back again.
I used Fireaway Pizza when I lived in London so when I saw there was one here I was happy. This place was disgusting. Completely nothing like other Fireaway’s I’ve had.
Ordered calzone, honey chilli chicken and margarita pizza. The calzone itself was nice enough, with great big chunks of chicken. However the chicken was cold in the middle. There were also bits of unmelted cheese. So it was essentially one of Boabies pies. Overall it was pretty bland, the tomato sauce is nothing special. The pepperoni had no noticeable flavour. So it was packed full of cold flavourless meat. The Honey chilli chicken was superb. The chicken was perfectly cooked and was packed full of flavour. I would recommend it if you do decide to order. For the pizza my partner added extra cheese, and felt it didn't look like any had been put on. So it wasn't to her liking. I disagree but more cheese could have been added, it seems concentrated to the centre. 30% off the bill negated the high delivery charge, but at around £30 it was the same price as Domino's for a smaller pizza and side. The base of the pizza is far superior to dominos and I didn't feel hungover after eating it. Disappointingly average, but I would order again for the chicken. For a good pizza go to Pessano or Leopardos.
Excellent food, large portions, we went for for the Tea time specials. 2 courses £14.50, starter + pizza & pasta, yummy. Or yiu can go for the 3 course for £16.50 or another £1 or 2 to get a glass of wine too. Very friendly & attentive staff.
Crispy chicken wings were not crispy. Just topped with bits that went soft. Queen Margherita with mushrooms. mushrooms ?? and the only bit of the pizza that wasn’t dripping wet was the crust. Disgusting food. Won’t be back.
The delivery was really fast. The taste was good too, although the olives weren't my taste exactly but the fresh cheese compensated for that and made it 10/10. I'd recommend it as a good place to eat on a night out.
Have ordered 3 pizzas from fireaway and absolutely love the pizza however tonight the delivery driver was impeccably rude. The order was £12.84. I prefer paying in cash but didn't have change so handed the guy a £20 note. He dropped his bag and said he had no five pounds, which I told him was fine, he could keep it. He then demanded I pay and told me to learn how to pay online. He then produced a £5 note from his change pouch and told me I was lucky. Had he kept the change as per my request there'd have been no issue, but people with a lack pf people skills should not be telling paying customers how to pay, demand payment when holding the cash already given and telling them they're lucky to be getting the change. I suggest some new delivery drivers.
