5/5 Excellent family meal out The food was outstanding – everything we ordered was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. Service was spot on: friendly, quick and attentive without being overbearing. What really stood out was how much effort the staff made with our two young children. They were genuinely kind, patient, and even did little extras that made the kids feel special. Honestly one of the best family dining experiences we’ve had in ages. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back!

My wife, 2 adult sons (one vegan) and I first stopped into Sandro’s for a birthday dinner before heading to a show at the Hydro. After receiving a typical greeting from restaurant staff, the experience turned into something quite special. Alessandro and his team were engaging, talked with us about ingredients and meal prep and, most important, delivered delicious southern Italian pasta and pizza dishes. I personally tried the Funghi & Salsiccia pasta and the Margherita pizza (with extra olive oil and basil, of course). And both were molto delizioso! All four of us have very different tastes, and all four left feeling it was time and money well spent. Alessandro was willing to adapt the menu based on dietary and personal preferences. The room has a very comfortable vibe and the prices are extremely reasonable. Having an open kitchen, it was easy to let the pasta and pizza chefs know how much we enjoyed their food. This experience brought us back on our final night in Glasgow. And once again, despite being busy, Alessandro absolutely made us feel like family and served consistently delicious meals. Great spot, great food, great people, great value.

The Chicken Milanese was perfectly golden and crisp, the pasta had a proper rich tomato taste but the real highlight was the dessert. Warm Nutella doughnut stuffed with ice cream, melting into chocolate drizzle. ridiculous. Genuinely one of the best things I've ever eaten.

Went on a quiet Wednesday evening. Really enjoyed the food that was had especially the desserts. Bruchetta was fantastic and pasta was cooked perfectly. I just wished the service time was a bit more swift but overall dining experience was still very pleasant.

Standard pizza place with a stone oven. The flavors were fine but nothing special, and ingredients didn’t feel particularly high quality. Decent for a quick bite, but nothing to go out of the way for.

Popped in here before a show at the Hydro. We got two pizzas and a pasta with a few drinks. Food was delicious. Our waiter was really friendly (Marco I think). Prices are reasonable. Definitely a top spot if you're in the area!

Not impressed, the food was bland, flavour lacked depth… I ordered: Pappardelle with Beef Ragu Slow Cooked £16 I was hoping lots of flavour for something that has been slow cooked, what I got was disappointing, It was still edible but that’s all. The price doesn’t match the quality, I don’t mind paying for good food but this wasn’t up to my personal standard. Won’t be returning.

We ordered two delicious pizza's, i would say the best we have ever had in the UK, We have only ever had a pizza this tasty with quality ingredients like this in Italy. The staff are friendly and attentive and the restaurant is wonderful. If you live in Glasgow..... lucky you! a must place to eat out, in a great location, facing the Kelvingrove Art gallery and museum. We will be back soon to try one of your pasta dishes. We went for dinner on Saturday night and we really enjoyed it. The pizza was excellent, all fresh ingredients and the Carbonara was rich and very tasty. The service was great too. We would definitely go back

We ordered a cabonara pasta and Nduja pizza. Great taste. The cabonara sauce was so cheesy and creamy, and the Pizza crust was chewy and smelt lovely. Thanks for the waiter’s suggestion to put some chilli oil on top of it, it really heightened the layers of flavours. Excellent service too! Worth to try!
