Suuuuper overrated. The slice's dough is decent, both in crispness and taste. The cheese quality is poor and gummy. But the absolute worst is the Detroit style: dough completely soaked in oil, a thick layer of rubbery-cheese and basically 0 tomato sauce. Pepperoni are nice but completely overwhelmed by the chilli honey sauce. There are better NY style and Detroit out there. Pass.

We loved Civerinos. The Crispy Kale on Marinara was excellent, and the classic fries were tasty but very generous—more than enough for two, so a small would’ve done. Overall, great flavour, good portions, and solid value for money. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a difficult review to write as I have always loved civerinos! Sadly on this occasion the pizza was really low quality and the size of the slice was significantly smaller than the group next to us. I would expect more than 1 slice of pepperoni and a small bite of sausage. I have given 4 stars as previous visits have been good but was very very disappointed on this occasion. It’s a great location on a nice day, lovely atmosphere.

We went to Portobello on a weekend when the weather was gorgeous. Obviously we were not the only people who preferred coming down to the beach to soak some sunshine in. So queues before all shops were very long. We didn’t mind the waiting time. BUT there cannot be any good explanation for making your customers wait for a pizza for 35 minutes. They prioritise people who ordered slices rather than a whole pizza. By the time they called out our order no, more than 20 people who ordered after us had collected their orders. It was very annoying and maybe they could have warned us. And when we finally had our pizza, it was completely burnt underneath as you can see. Going back to the queue or complaining and waiting for another pizza for 30 mins was not an option for us so we had to eat barely one slice and throw the rest. Overall, I do NOT recommend this branch, especially on a busy day. They are not good at meeting high demand and making good pizza at the same time.

Yum!!!!! We ordered 2 slices and a side each - we did NOT finish it! Added extra burrata which was a welcome treat. Also had 2 margarita slushies which were really strong and a welcome pick-me-up. Perfect pizza, delicious dough, marvellous Mac-n-cheese bites

This is what proper pizza tastes like!! It’s the best companion for your day at the beach. The ingredients are super fresh and the pizza dough is not heavy. I love their truffle fries too; super crispy and yummy. Do ask for the side sauce. They have vegan options which I always go for.

The size of pizza is huge!!!! I love all means. But My recommendation is hot chicken. And.. the Chips.. you MUST not skip to order. Best fries ever.

I’ve wanted to go here for a while now and finally bought my first pizza slice from here when I went to Portobello beach with a friend over the weekend. I ordered a slice of the Civerinos and it absolutely lives up to the hype. It was bigger than I thought it was going to be and the flavour was fabulous. It was amazing sitting on the beach with this slice in my hand watching the sunset.
