Been going here years and it's seriously gone downhill with the new owner. I have been in 2-3 times per week until now as I work nearby and the standards have fallen too much not to review. New owner is very in your face and it's uncomfertable, he's borderline aggressive and forces customers to try food they don't want to. Food from the grill is coming undercooked or cold and the attitude isn't good when you complain. I got some sort of chicken kebab one time (though I asked for chicken tikka, got some yellow coated chicken instead) and it smelled and tasted sour, had to be binned. The owner has very little English and doesn't understand what the orders or the complaints actually are, so just sort of disagrees with you and doesn't fix it. He gets visually frustrated at the language barrier, He also unfortunately abuses the staff while customers are in and has aggressive manners on the phone to customers. Not great optics. They are visibly disorganised when it's busy, with customers calling constantly at times. The customers in store were talking about this too. I wouldn't order a delivery from here. Shame as this was my favourite takeaway in the area.

I visited this 3-in-1 restaurant hoping for variety, but it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. One of the services was shockingly rude — no greeting, no smile, and outright dismissive when we asked questions. The food quality was just as bad: bland, poorly cooked, and clearly not fresh. Even the ambience was unpleasant, with dim lighting, unclean tables, and an overall neglected atmosphere. Honestly, this place needs a complete overhaul in service, food, and environment before I’d ever consider coming back.

New owners are very nice. Always friendly & give ye exactly what yer after. Food is very good too. Ye can tell they are improving the recipe’s from what was already there. Only thing I would suggest is a clay oven if they don’t have one so they can make proper hand made nan bread like the other place I’ve been to for donkys . The Fried Rice portions are very generous too Only tried the prev owners pita style bread & didn’t like it so maybe thats changed as well. But if it hasn’t be a great addition to sn otherwise excellent wee eating place Prices aren’t bad either. About on par with everywhere else & certainly no worse quality

Went there yesterday for the first time and it was a very good experience, the new owner was very welcoming and kind aswell as the rest of the staff. Food was very yummy too. Will be definitely going back very soon, our new favourite place to eat. Thank you for your amazing service

The menu says grill, but they fry it in oil, no bread, no salad, and the Piece of chicken wings is less. It was better before.

Deliveries always come early, the prices are amazing and the food is the best quality you'll get in the area, and all this with a friendly set of staff behind the counter. One of the best places to get food in hardgate.
