They are experts on world travel (we have discovered Guatemala and Belize, multiple Greek islands, USA as well as great value ski holidays in resorts I didn’t know). At short notice, Charlie at Putney Travel found us a perfect villa for a one week October half term trip to Sicily (through CV Villas and Select Sicily). Villa Belice on the south western coast is wonderful: beautiful setting, a short walk (5 mins) from a sandy beach, excellent pool, very stylish Italian design and fittings throughout, generously equipped and immaculately maintained. Only an hour from Palermo airport, it is easy reach to ancient sites at Selinunta, Segesta, and the Valle dei Templi and of course the quintessentially Sicilian city of Palermo. Another highlight was our visit to the Mandrarossa winery in nearby Menfi - strongly recommended. Travel arrangements smooth and excellent - altogether a great break. Many thanks, as ever.
