   What a lovely place! Three of us were staying at a nearby hotel, and we found Gianninos -- we were lucky to get in on a crowded December Wednesday night, it was packed. The service was impeccable from start to finish, so friendly and accommodating. The food was as good as any reasonable Italian bistrot outside Italy. A nice, cheap Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Please go here, it's clearly an institution.

   Just finished our UK trip with 2 nights in Broxburn. Was told we should try Gianninos and we were not disappointed..so much so we had two nights there for dinner...Food & Staff were amazing. It was always busy which shows how good the place is and what the locals obviously think of it. Would highly recommend going there if you are ever visiting the Broxburn area.    Great restaurant. Been here a couple of times and both times the food and service were exceptional. Was a booking of +20 people and the staff were so organised, accommodating and fast service even with our stressful and large table and the rest of the busy restaurant.

   Came here tonight whilst staying in Edinburgh whilst waiting on a plane and wow. From the moment we walked in felt as tho we had been there before staff were really good especially the lady I didn't catch her name but she was so attentive with my little girl. The food arrived quickly and it was the best Italian I've had in ages alot nicer than all the franchise Italians in Aberdeen, Chicken was so tender pasta was perfect and tomato sauce was just right, my partner said the pizza was amazing,will definitely be back when we are next in Edinburgh. Thanks for an amazing meal which was alot better better priced than Aberdeen.
