The restaurant in Portishead with the best sauces. The food itself is great, but the sauces they serve alongside the dishes are a true masterpiece.

First of all, the food was simply terrible. The waiters were working very hard and their concentration was very low. They brought the wrong item to the table a few times. When we told them it was wrong, the young man got angry as if we were the cause of this situation. As seen in the pictures, there was beet puree on every plate of our food for no reason, even though it had nothing to do with the food. (Even on the dessert plate) None of the products tasted like fresh produce. (Tomato sauce) Oh my God, I don't know how they managed to make it so bad. All of your products are ready-made, and the cheapest canned tomato sauce is probably the choice. The rice in the arancini was not cooked. I'm sorry, I will never go here again and I don't recommend it to anyone. My comments may be harsh. I'm sorry, it was really bad. The customer base is old and it's a place that consumes a lot of alcohol. It's very difficult to understand the right taste.

Really lovely location and it’s such a sweetness in a night sky! Friendly staff and great service. The pasta was very nice with a lovely sauce. The lamb shank was beautifully prepared with a generous portion of veg. The only shame is that the lamb tasted like it had stayed in the freezer for 2 years.

Brilliant. We had ravioli and pasta carbonara with pistachio profiteroles for dessert. The 3 dishes were high quality. Carbonara was well integrated with the spaghetti and with the perfect touch of pepper. The location is amazing with the glass ceiling providing natural light. The dessert was very original and the pistachio cream simply outstanding.

We have been coming here for years, but the last time we came (last year) the food was disappointing, so we booked with trepidation, not being confident that it would be a good experience. However, we were very glad that it has largely returned to it’s previous high quality of food and service. 3 of us came for an early dinner, ordering a bottle of house white wine, 1 whitebait and calamari starter to share and then a main course for each of us - veal, sea bass and hake with 2 glasses of wine between us The quality of the fish was excellent, while the veal was a little tough in places. The total cost of the meal was Β£110, so not cheap, but we will be going back again.

Great service and excellent food. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the flavours in each dish went really well together. I would highly recommend the baked lemon cheesecake and the salmone marina.

Had a delicious meal here with 3 others the other day. Well made tasty dishes and great wines. I started with scollops which were juicy and perfectly cooked, followed by the Salmon dish which was also cooked to perfection. The team were very accommodating and looked after us very well also. Perfect on a nice sunny day.
