Where to begin? Winnie and Olive were perfect in every way! They brought our vision to life in a way we couldn't imagine! The flowers were stunning and were far beyond our expectations. They are such a lovely small company to work with and we couldn't have made a better decision to go with them for our special day.
Myself and my now husband used Winnie & Olive for our wedding flowers back in August. We dealt with Vanessa the whole way through who was great! She stayed in regular contact with us throughout the whole process making sure we were kept up to date and available to answer any queries we had. Vanessa very kindly allowed us to borrow some table decorations from the shop to put on the tables at our reception which looked great! Vanessa listened to what sort of style flowers we envisioned and definitely brought that vision to life! Vanessa delivered the flowers on the morning of the wedding to the hotel we got ready at. She also went to the church to dress the church. After the ceremony Vanessa then come back to the church to remove the flowers to then take them to our reception venue, making sure no flowers were wasted and reused where possible which we loved! We were then able to keep the flowers and vases and were able to then gift them to our wedding guests, again, ensuring no flowers were wasted. We would highly recommend Winnie & Olive. We booked in with Winnie & Olive for dried flowers for our Scotland wedding (bridal bouquet and grooms button hole) as we wanted to use a local business. Safe to say we were not disappointed! Vanessa was very warm and welcoming and helped us decide on the best flowers based on colour (when dried) and style of bouquet I wanted. The flowers when we picked them up were stunning! I’m so glad we picked dried flowers as we are now able to display them in our house as a beautiful keepsake. Thank you so much - I would highly recommend!
Winnie & Olive are more than just florists, they are true artists. Their attention to detail is absolutely impeccable. From our bouquets and pocket squares to the venue flowers such as broken arch, milk churns, bud vases, every single element was absolutely perfect. When I shared my vision for a “country meadow” wedding, Vanessa and Heather brought it to life – and then some! The arrangements were beyond anything I could have ever imagined, and the flowers completely exceeded our expectations. Every time I show our wedding photos, the first thing people comment on is how stunning the flowers were. Cannot recommend Winnie & Olive enough to any brides to be. Heather and Vanessa made the whole process a dream, and are so talented at what they do. From my initial enquiry right up until our wedding day, I felt in safe hands and as though they not only understood my vision but were as excited as I was, which was so lovely. Our arrangements and bouquets were stunning, and their focus on sustainability was an added bonus both ethically and practically in re-use of bud vases and table decor. As a daughter and granddaughter, it was a pleasure to work with a lovely, female run family business. I'm sure your nans/mom would be so proud of what you create ❤️
I am a flower farmer, I grow with the seasons so do not have my own fresh flowers throughout the winter months. During these months, I choose to buy from Winnie and Olive as they share the same ideals as me on sustainability, no single use plastic is used and all wrappings can be recycled. They also only buy from British growers, those that are passionate about the quality of their flowers. To add to the exceptional quality that Vanessa and Heather provide, comes excellent customer service, beautiful presentation and superb value for money. Highly recommended.
Wonderful shop that is a calming little breath of fresh air for the soul. It looks beautiful, smells divine, and I love that they only sell British grown flowers. Vanessa is so warm and friendly, had a lovely chat today and I left with a gorgeous posy of anemones that make me smile whenever I look at them. Keep doing what you're doing, Heather and Vanessa ☺️
What a delightful shop. So friendly and smells divine. I love the fact that all the flowers are British grown and was amazed how much was available even in the middle of winter. I left with a gorgeous spray of anemones and greenery at a very reasonable price. I shall return and look forward to seeing what the changing seasons bring
Fab local independent shop. The ethos of the owners around sustainability and supporting other independent business is to be congratulated and encouraged. I love visiting their shops the smell is amazing and there’s such a choice of things to buy, which I often do ☺️
This little haven is something really special! Heather and Vanessa are kind, happy, positive spirits with only the best intentions. Re-opening today after a refit and one on only two all British grown florists in the country. I'm so lucky to have this place as my local. Its a must for any person looking for fresh and dry sustainable, eco flowers, bouquets and wedding flowers!
