   We have just returned from a week at Edgar House. There were twelve of us including two younger children, three teenagers, their parents, uncle and grandparents. The house was amazing and lived up to our expectations and beyond. This house is perfect and set in an ideal location with an easy walk into Chester. It really made our holiday extra special. The games room kept the younger members of the our party entertained. Every room was wonderfully decorated, beds really comfy and we had everything we needed. It’s really hard to write a review when everything was just perfect. The staff at Daisy Joy Escapes were extremely helpful and accommodating.

   A great holiday home with the X factor. This well equipped and spacious property comfortably accommodated our large family group. Everything was to a very high quality. The location was quiet but convenient for restaurants, shops etc. We would highly recommend.

   Our large group of old (70+) college friends have stayed in a lot of big holiday homes over the years, and Edgar House is by far the best ever, with the highest marks in every detail. As others have noted, it is conveniently and attractively located, overloooking the city walls and River Dee, with private parking and a short walk to historic sites, shops, restaurants and pubs. The interior is stunning and spotlessly clean, with quirky artwork and plenty of space for sitting and dining en masse; and all the themed and spacious en suite bedrooms are very appointed and have extremely comfortable beds. The kitchen is abundantly equipped with everything needed for cooking, entertaining, and cleaning, with masses of plates, cutlery and glasses of all sizes. We didn't use the games or media rooms, but would have in our younger days. The garden is also lovely, again with plenty of seating for relaxing or al fresco dining, and although it is bordered by the city walls path, it was private and undisturbed. We had an excellent week, and highly recommend Edgar House.

   Wonderful house for a gathering, superbly appointed with everything you could need for a luxury stay. Fantastic social spaces both inside and outside the property. Right in the centre of Chester over looking the River Dee. It really is first class.

   What can I say…wow! We stayed at Edgar House last week and have never stayed anywhere like this before. Everything was immaculate; the bedrooms are all individually themed and decorated to a very high standard and all have lovely en-suite bathrooms. The attention to detail with everything is just amazing. The kitchen was very well stocked with ample crockery and glasses for every drink you could think of. High spek appliances and plenty of fridge space too, even a little fridge in the phone box! We got very competitive in the games room and it was like being at the cinema in our very own movie room! Beautiful garden, with lots of different seating areas which overlook the river Dee. We actually felt like royalty, as everyone that walked past the gate had to stop and take a look! Great that there is enough parking for 10 cars, which is very secure. Situated on the city walls, the house is in a great location, ideal for a stroll along the river or a mooch around Chester. Very close to bars and restaurants, so we didn’t need to use the car at all! The pictures don't do it justice. We would definitely return or even visit one of your other properties. Thank you

   Wow, wow, wow! We are a group of ladies - aged 2 - 86 who have been travelling to various holiday lets across the UK for the last 16 years - at least once a year. Hands down, this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything, from dealing with Caroline at Daisy Joy Escapes, to the thoughtful gifts of fizz and cards for two of our ladies who were celebrating a land mark birthday and wedding, to the accommodation and experience was absolutely first class and could not be faulted.    We had the most lovely time in Edgar House as a family on a weekend visit for a wedding. The place is exquisite - comfortable and luxurious interior with an explosion of character. It was also very thoughtfully designed and stocked out with all the amenities and utensils you could possibly need. The children enjoyed all parts of the house especially the cinema room! We all enjoyed a nice bbq in the garden! Excellent and unique experience - definitely look forward to returning!

   Edgar House was perfect, from initial enquiry & booking right through to the stay the service was fantastic. The house itself is utterly perfect, absolutely huge, so well designed and the perfect spot for hosting family get together. From the cinema room to the many bedrooms and kitchen there is nothing we would have changed. Big thanks to Caroline for being so attentive and very helpful to make the experience fantastic, look forward to coming back in thr future.

   We had an amazing weekend catching up with extended family. Such a brilliant house for making sure every bedroom is comfortable and exceptional so no bickering and the games room/cinema room were great for the kids and adults alike. The attention to detail was incredible - nothing was lacking and we felt very lucky to be there looking over the walls. The welcome from Caroline was lovely and we felt right at home from the start - we’d live there if we could!

   Edgar house is absolutely stunning and we all really loved our stay there . The location couldn't be more perfect with lovely views over the river and so close to Chester City centre. The house itself is amazing in every way, all the rooms are so stylish and really do have the WOW factor. The kitchen is so well equipped and it was great to all be able to all sit together at the large dining room table . We all loved the fantastic games room and cinema room . We stayed at Edgar house for a family reunion and couldn't have wished for a better place for three generations of the family to spend time together
