I took fish and chips and it was very tasty. Owners were an Italian couple who were very bright and happy to give suggestions. Don’t miss out on the brown sauce for your fish and chips - it’s divine. Also, watch out for seagulls if you bring your food to the beach. These birds also know the good stuff. Will definitely come back again!
Great place! We ordered fish and chips for lunch on the beach. The piece of fish was huge, the fries were plentiful, and delicious. The couple running the place were incredibly friendly; the guy spoke excellent French and a bit of Polish. A truly lovely couple with good food.
Delicious taste! The whole fried fish was huge, and the chips were plentiful—completely filled the box. The lady owner noticed I was a foreigner and patiently explained—she was very warm and welcoming. I was travelling alone and felt cold before，then I chose to gave them a Chinese knot as a gift, hoping they like it. I also hope I can come back and enjoy their food again.
Love grabbing fish and chips from here. Not just because they taste great, but because the owners are the friendliest people I've met in a long time!
Come in, have a nice chat with the owners and enjoy your very delicious Fish & Chips at the beach (5 minute walk, max). We ate it with vinegar and brown sauce. It was so good! Loved it. Hopefully again soon :)
If you go to Portobello Beach, walk two minutes from the promenade and have the BEST fish and chips. Sweet couple run it. Beautiful tender large portion of fish. Made fresh to order. Reasonable price. Other items look good too, pizza, sausage, Grab it and go back to the beach. Don't miss it.
Amazing fish and chips! The sweetest couple run this place. Fish is cooked fresh to order and was truly delicious. Flakey and perfect. Great chips too. Lovely lovely people who deserve local support! The shop is like it’s out of the 80s and my partner and I loved grabbing the fish suppers and eating on the beach.
