   Lovely dinner, really really enjoyed it. The sharing bread was like a pizza between us. Mrs had steak, fillet, two sides was too much. The garlic mash, no garlic was spared! If a seafood pasta which was delicious. Been before & will absolutely be back.

   Fantastic (real) Italian restaurant in Hamilton This was a great find for us, and a lifeline, we were arriving late in Hamilton and could not find anywhere to eat with our dog. Rocca allowed us to eat on the terazza and the found was amazing. We highly recommend this place, really nice location, food, service.

   I have lived in Hamilton for a long time but had always put off trying Rocca's, assuming it would be out of my price range because of how fancy it looks. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and how well everything is cooked and presented. The food is fantastic, and the staff are absolutely lovely, making sure you are well looked after from start to finish. We are already looking forward to them hosting my parents' golden wedding anniversary. It is the perfect spot for a special occasion.

   Firstly, let’s say I was disappointed to be called two hours before our table booking to be told the usual menu of the day (£20 for 3 courses) was not going to be available and only festive menu. I had specifically booked to avoid festive menus, and now no choice , and an extra £25 cost added for our family of 5 (£25 each for 3 courses). Restaurant was busy, seated for 10 minutes before drinks order taken, and no one offered to hang up jackets…although they did for the table of ten who arrived behind us. Hmmm. Menu was OK nice choice, but my wife and son had to send back the “breaded mushrooms with brie and mozzarella” starters as they were in fact dry and without any cheese. Replacement alternate starters OK. My main course salmon was lovely but my other son complained his burger with cheese and cranberry had so much cranberry it was bitter tasting. Desserts were nothing special and caramel cake base was lumpy crushed digestives. Overall the meal was mediocre at best and can’t say I’ll be back in a hurry. £188 for Saturday lunch for 5 was not great value ( including two bottles of wine ).

   Food excellent. Lovely restaurant. Staff missed the basics. Not clearing empty glasses, bottles, unused cutlery. Not overly attentive. Seemed like the boss brought the coffees. Marked difference. Would recommend it, just the small things would make it 5*.

   Tried this place for the first time with my friends had the lobster ravioli and it was amazing the food was good so was the service plan on going back I would highly recommend trying it out
