Best chip shop around!!!!! Food is always excellent, staff are so welcoming and attentive. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
Food was lovley but for a well established chip shop a bit of paper in between 2 bits of fish would save having to eat it like this
I was visiting Scotland from the US. As during my previous 15 visits to Scotland I was looking forward for a fish and chips dinner and picked your place from the internet. It was a disaster. The dough was half baked, the fish was not well cooked and the chips were lush. I would give it 0 stars if it were possible. Your competition made up for my disappointment when it served me a great fish and chips dinner two days later.
Popped in other week when passing as not been in for years. Very clean and modern and 1 of the 2 staff were friendly. Deep fried mushroom pizza was small but delicious and decent portion of chips which were good. Free can of ginger/juice with lunchtime order. What lets it down is the price. £9.00 for a deep fried pizza super is a bit much especially take away, pay less for a fish super. Solid 4/5 let down by price.
got a jumbo special supper , and although the food was tasty, it was far too cold, even though it was cooked to order... Fryers and heaters need to have the temperatures turned up, was disappointed

The food is superb, the special fish is particularly excellent. Staff are always pleasant & it's well organised regards Covid. A shame their sit-in section is closed as that's a great option.
Fish tea amongst the best I have ever tasted. Pleasant , efficient staff. Good prices. Lovely surroundings. Ideal.
