Food was good, staff were pleasant & accommodating just a couple of miner things like pure printed menu hard to read ? Condiments should be on the table & could clear table in between food & drinks
Loved it all, good food, great service and interaction with the staff. Friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
We visited on a football day (Motherwell football stadium is close by). No problems as only home football colours are allowed. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Worth a visit.
Sorry I booked here for 12.30, Wednesday afternoon, no chef, no delicious fresh cooked food, if the owner thinks the offerings we got were up to standards,then it's a fail!! Carry on with just eat!! MY TIMELINE SHOWS I WAS IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT AT 12.30 TODAY. (2) Edit- THERE was no chef! There was a guy with an apron on standing in the kitchen area, then he came out with a bucket of water and Cloth to wash down the tables, the kitchen had ZERO STAFF IN IT!! i left my half of chicken burger it was tasteless so no the plates WERE NOT CLEARED, I suggest you look at the CCTV AGAIN!! As for the chef & hot food part, you can work an Air fryer I'm sure that's why the food was hot!! Please don't keep lying online it makes you look desperate! As we went by at 9.20pm the doors were all locked up, that's not the opening times you have on Google. Was it a slow day/evening for you??
Was disappointed tonight. As soon as we came in we could tell the staff were run off their feet which is fine obviously but the man in the blue shirt was nothing but hostile. I tried to let him know we were early for our table but he didn’t seem interested. As I was going to say we don’t mind going back out to the car to wait. We were shown our seats and ordered food which was again, fine. I ordered my main, which was a burger and asked for no mayonnaise and noticed you could add cheese for £1. Seeing as I’m not a fan of cheese I didn’t say anything - thinking that would mean I wouldn’t want any seeing as you have to pay more to get it. My main came over and there was cheese. I got the man’s attention and said I never asked for cheese, his only response was “did you not want cheese?” I said no sorry and he grabbed the plate of my table and went back to the kitchen. He came back over and told me it would be a 15 minute way which is absolutely fine. He brought my plate back over and practically tossed the plate back at me. The food was lovely but it was a shame to be ruined by the man in the blue shirt. We won’t be back unfortunately.
A bit noisy, slow on serving due to being really busy. But food was excellent
Had lovely breaded and battered fish and chips before Janey Godley show, very busy and short staffed but staff doing the best they can and getting the orders out as quick as possible, great teamwork ! Thank you
I like bar it's beautiful relax at garden outside and in lounge and great drinks and met to staff nice friendly I am deaf i say want budweister drink to staff say bit sign language just say thank you. I think best of your business pub of year award possible in future.
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it here. Good food, friendly staff and reasonably priced.
