   Place is flithy. Carpets are disgusting on way to rooms. Checked the bed and had hair, crums all over it. Left straight away and they refused a refund. Flithy cesspit of a place.

   Perfect location and very accessible for any professional workers requiring a place to stay. Manager is one of the nicest people do not be put off by the 12 midnight shut as it is more than Worth it. Manager was very helpful and is just a regular family man like you or I. Food was top quality all fresh which is all you can ask for and the prices of there dalmore beats the average boozer by £2 a nip. Do not worry about portion size it is definitely adequate. Bedrooms are small but I got a single so don't think you and the Mrs can fit a single room. Other than this everything else was perfect. Loved my stay thanks again for making it feel like home for my 3 day stay!!

   My in laws booked this establishment when through for a wedding, my MIL didnt realise the place locked up at midnight, we called to cancel straight away when she realised and the person we spoked to was more than happy to cancel but she just decided to go ahead with the booking. She said the place was spotless and had no issues whatsoever. The only thing she did mention was that the breakfast wasn't up to much, but apart from that, she was quite happy.

   Wouldn’t recommend. Heating was broken and he wasn’t bothering to get anything else in place to heat the place. We sat with our jackets on eating dinner what a joke. We asked for money off as this wasn’t enjoyable and he didn’t want to do that as if it’s not an issue.

   What can I say more? This place is really worth a visit, just for the Sticky Toffee alone! The owner is really welcoming, he even knows you by name the next morning! Food was great, service was great, he loves to spend some time for a chat and, does all the cooking himself. If you're staying for the night, you'll have a really nice stay, don't nag about the little things in your room, it's all there, especially for what you've paid. Parking is free and ample, so no worries there. Would come again, any day in the year! See more comments in my pics

   I booked this hotel for my partner. He was told that he would need a drivers license (which he doesn’t have) or passport (which wasn’t on his person) to use the hotel. This resulted in my partner being stranded and paying a lot of money to travel back home to then spend more money to travel back down the next day to attend a family event. When asked via telephone for a refund the response we got was ‘i don’t know what you people think’ or something along those lines. I’m assuming this is the manager and said he would refund the card but need to ‘watch what we’re doing’. The attitude from this manager is disgusting and uses an extremely condescending tone. The customer service is shocking and I would advise anyone to not go to this hotel.
