   I have been dining with mushtaqs for over 15years and before when Ajmals father had the restaurant, and it was ALWAYS a special experience. However since it has been under new ownership I’m afraid that it has slowly become a less than ordinary dining experience, so much so that I will no longer be patronising it as my go to curry restaurant.

   Been enjoying the curries from here for around 23 years now but I have to agree with others that the quality has really dropped in comparison to when Mushtaq was walking the floor and speaking to every customer whilst genuinely being a proud, hospitable gentleman. It's great that the company expanded and provide many more people with employment but it's also disappointing that the standards of before aren't the same now.

   Agree with all of the recent reviews, the quality of the food has really dropped. 2/3 of us have been ill after a takeaway. Sad to say I won't be back as it used to be known for high quality.

   Got takeaway, waited a long time for delivery, with the website stating it was on its way for over 30 mins. Ordered lamb tikka hoping it would be more tender than standard lamb. It was not. Very chewy. Felt unwell within a few hours afterwards. Won't be eating from here again.

   No Way! There’s something terribly wrong with the chef. You dare call it as PROPER INDIAN FOOD ? No way! What a blunder! I ordered Garlic Chilli Chicken and they certainly made a blunder, can’t blame them being a Monday when all good restaurants are closed, I had very limited options so thought of trying Mushtaq’s and for sure we are not returning back to them. Guys pl for god sake, stick to what you say.

   Ajmal Mushtaq is a slum landlord and caused deaths over mouldy flats he would rent out to people and showed no sympathy to tenants with terminal illnesses.. I wish nothing but the worst for this waste of skin. He's got face lit a melted candle too and is a HUGE bender... Yer no foolin' nobody ya absolute melon

   Shocking customer service. Very poor attitude from counter staff £45 between the pizza takeaway in the same location. Food was cold asked to make it fresh. Attempted to pass us to same meal put on a hotplate. Witnessed several wrong orders when i was there.

   Our family had been loyal customers for years. We ordered from here at least once a week. The quality standard has been going down hill for a while but we still remained loyal to the business despite not receiving the standards we would expect but last night was the last straw when we found a dead bluebottle fly in bedded in the chicken pakora batter. We are absolutely disgusted. The health and hygiene standard have clearly also dropped along with the quality. Very sad to say we won’t ever be back!!!
