Donna was the most lovely waitress and host - very kind and helpful. The chefs were very accommodating for my gluten free meal for Coeliacs. Great food and service :)
I recently had the pleasure of being served by Donna and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and incredibly efficient. She knew the menu inside and out and was able to answer all of our questions with ease. What really stood out was her genuine smile and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure we had a great dining experience. Our drinks were always refilled promptly, and she checked in on us just the right amount without being intrusive. Donna’s exceptional service truly enhanced our meal.
Delicious meal at this warm friendly restaurant. Ideal location within easy reach of M74 motorway. We all opted for the carvery which offered a great choice of meats and an abundance of vegetables. Susan our server was lovely, and provided an excellent service to us. Highly recommend
Food was amazing! Meat was nice and tender with minimal fat. The roasties were nice, some crispy and some mega soft and fluffy (I love a variety in my roasties!) My little girl enjoyed all her food and even had gravy - which she never usually does! Chloe was lovely, chatting and let us know all the options available! Would come back again and would love to be served again by Chloe!
Hi, I wanted to leave a review and mention what happened.tonight because it stands out as something a wee bitty special. So, I booked a meal which coincided with being in the area and it was my son’s 16th birthday. He loves the Toby Carvery. In my haste to secure a table it turns out I booked a meal for 16! There were only 6 of us in reality. We arrive and the staff couldn’t have been more understanding. We had an amazing meal and were happily chatting away when our waitress Michelle said that she was off home. I gave her a cash tip to say thanks - she had been brilliant all night. About 15 minutes later Michelle returned to say that two notes had been stuck together and she gave me back the additional money. Michelle and all of the staff at the Carvery are what made the night special. Friendly, professional and incredibly honest. Thank you all so much. Simon (Inverness).
The food was as always great, the Yorkshire puddings the size of your face, the meat for the roast is amazing and so much variety for the veg. Had the raspberry sorbet for dessert and it was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Will was the best server we’ve ever had! Couldn’t have been better. Would highly recommend
Our wedding reception venue became unavailable at short notice, so quickly had to find an alternative for our small reception, so we booked the Meeting Room at Toby Carvery. Before booking, we had a consultation with Sharon and discussed our plans for the meal and table settings. The night before the wedding, we took our wedding cake and decorations in. On arrival after our wedding, we gasped in amazement and joy, because Sharon had decorated the whole room beautifully and it was way beyond our expectations!!! She looked after us all so well and it was a day to remember! All the staff were really lovely and made our day extra special. Thanks again Sharon, you were amazing! From Rakesh and David.
We had an excellent birthday party for 22 people. The food was excellent and the staff were so helpful and pleasant, particularly Aimee/Amy who went above and beyond her duties to make sure we were so well catered for. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made so welcome. Everyone had a great time.
Was served by Caroline who we know from previous visits and she is always cheery welcoming and friendly. I highlighted to her we were very impressed with the recent refurbishment it's lovely. I also asked her to pass on to the chefs and kitchen staff the meal was cooked to perfection every single item. The best meal we have had in a long time. We'll done everyone.
