Couldn't recommend this company enough. We were so well taken care of by Abigail, Simon, Verity and the serving team on the day. The venue is beautiful, and the food served throughout the day from canapes, reception and evening food was exceptional . Our guests were delighted with the whole day. Thank you Parsnip Mash.
This is such a beautiful venue and the staff were extremely helpful. Great at replying to messages throughout the planning stage and really there for us on the day. Also very adaptable to our needs, wishes, budget and changes in the weather! Serving staff on the day were also lovely. Staff here really care about their work and will make your day very special.

We had the most incredible wedding at Goldney House (on the hottest day of the year!) It was everything we wanted it to be. All guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and couldn’t believe this hidden gem existed in their city. All the staff were wonderful, efficient and very kind and it made such a big difference knowing that they had everything in hand on the day. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious, and all our guests had a lovely day. Thanks to everyone who works at this beautiful venue and particularly to Abigail and Verity. We wish we could do it all again!
We cannot thank Simon and Abigail enough for helping us execute our dream wedding. From the moment we stepped into the Mansion House and Simon showed us around we knew we were in good hands. We felt completely supported and encouraged to plan the day we wanted to have. And what a day it was!! The venue, the food, the crémant!! It was perfect. The entire team at Parsnip Mash did an incredible job in the 30 degree heat! We finished the day with the most amazing party, dancing until the very last song. We will cherish the day forever. Simon and his team catered for our 100 person summer wedding at The Mansion House. We opted for canapes, a three-course wedding breakfast and an evening buffet. The food was phenomenal! We were really happy with how everything turned out. Many of our guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Simon also sourced an amazing cheese wedding cake for us which was a real showstopper. Sadly we had had to postpone our wedding from July 2020 due to Covid but Simon was very kind and accommodating when we re-arranged it. On the day everything went very smoothly and we had the best time. If we lived in Bristol we would go to Parsnip Mash for all of our catering needs, they are so professional and real foodies.
Our wedding menu was absolutely perfect and still now six months on our guests mention how good the food was. The team were brilliant in choosing our menu and the fact we could have anything we wanted was brilliant. The food was presented beautifully and full of flavour just absolutely gorgeous we would highly recommend.
Very good venue and excellent service. Our golden wedding celebration went as we would hope in spite of coronavirus panic. Food and drink excellent. It was a bit pricey, but worth it!
Google ask for my experience of "this place", well it isn't a place, it's a service and what a service. Every last detail was taken care of and even late adjustments (someone who suddenly decided to be vegetarian) were taken without a murmur and with smooth efficiency. I hope I wasn't an awkward customer but I had hoped that canapés on the lawn while the sun was setting would "do" instead of a starter served at the tables - of course it rained - but that was no problem for their staff discreetly mingling with trays in the vestibule. The main course was delicious and the sweets a delight. To add to this, I had paid an estimated cost, which they could have walked away with but, no, once they had totted everything up after the event I received a refund. The venue was delighted with how tidy it had been left after my guests and I had long since departed. AB
As a Bristol wedding photographer I had a chance to work alongside Parsnip Mash on many occasions. Their food is always delicious, nicely presented and their service is top-notch. Highly recommended for any event.
