Don’t go to this chippy as they steal money and their website is a load of rubbish. Comes up they can’t process my order AFTER they charged me. Phoned up the girl told me to use a different card and the same thing happened so i’m left short. Don’t order from here.
Used this place a good few times but last 2 times been disappointed. For the price you’re paying for suppers the portion sizes are ridiculously small what you would expect from a kids meal. Delivery time wasn’t up to much either long waits. Overall disappointing.
Was recommended this chip shop by a friend, so glad they did! Feeding a family of 6 plus a treat for the dogs I ordered online, with an approximate pickup time. On arrival there were 3 or 4 customers in front of us and 3 staff taking orders and preparing food. Our order was being freshly prepared right on time, so despite a 20 min travel time due to traffic, food was piping hot. All the suppers we had went down extremely well, portion size was perfect in my opinion, nothing was too greasy or undercooked. Thank you fallones I'll definitely be returning
Disappointing! Had to wait ages while delivery orders were being made. Batter on black pudding was like rubber and the pudding itself was dry. Also the chips were a wishy washy colour. Only one staff member doing the serving for customers and deliveries and looked harassed, so no friendly chatter. I don't understand this as there were 5 members of staff there?? Would be better if they had 2 staff serving. Won't be back.
Great chippy, beautiful fish. Only gripe is their ordering/collect process is a bit meh. You could stand in shop for 15 minutes easily before anyone asks what you want. Would make more sense to take orders and payments when people come in. But despite that it's definitely the best chippy in the area.
I used this place today and I have to say I'm so impressed such a nice and friendly people and they will do the best to make sure that the food is to your liking.I had a really good conversation with them we just had a friendly chat and a laugh. I would highly recommend this place to anyone...
On 3rd August I had the worst battered fish that I can remember in the last decade. The fish itself was unpleasant and dry but the batter was truly inedible. On the outside it was hard - rock hard in places - and on the inside it was wet, woolly and uncooked. I took it back to show the boss. I said I did not want my money back, but just wanted to give him feed back. Far from being grateful, he was dismissive and rude. Everyone thought his food was good, he said. There was no apology for the mess I had returned to him, and no interest whatsoever in his appalling fish. See what I took back.
