Ordered in store, food was made tasty and piping-hot in a very short and delightful amount of time. Service was great and the food was even better. Nothing to complain about.
Shockingly bad service from both this shop and Papa John's customer service. Waited over an hour and a half to be delivered a cold pizza, even phoning several times to check what was happening with the order. Complained to customer service and was told that we should have rejected the order so they refuse to offer any compensation for their awful quality. Don't bother, just go somewhere else.
Absolutely atrocious, although compared to some reviews, perhaps we were lucky in only waiting 90 minutes for pizza as opposed to 3 hours. But when our food finally turned up it was stone cold and really unpleasant to eat (bordering on inedible). I phoned the branch twice and the first time the guy just fobbed me off and gave me the wrong delivery address (one that wasn’t even in Chippenham). Safe to say I don’t think we’ll order from here again, this is the third issue in as many orders we’ve had with the Chippenham branch.
Worst takeaway ever. If you want some fast food, Guess again. Would be quicker to drive to London, book a restaurant, watch them gather the Ingredients, cook, eat, then travel back, then order from here.. DO NOT USE..
Wouldnt bother. Order has taken over 2 hours. Seems they only have 1 delivery driver who had to go to corsham before us. Staff not very usefull. Clearly food was still in the shop when i phoned up 1.40 hours after ordering. Not the first time this has happened either. What a joke of a store.
Asked for the £9.99 large pizza deal, only to be told that the price for the deal was now £11.99!! This despite posters on the window and serving desk showing the £9.99 deal. Also checked the website and this confirmed £9.99 The server was not interested and after a long day and long drive I could not be bothered to argue. The pizzas were not cooked that well either. Definitely the last time I will be using Papa John
Papa johns has good prices and tastes amazing, i will however only order through the app as I see too many negative reviews from just eat. Also they used to deliver on time however that has slowed down over the past two years. Plus the app is just a general time frame, so don’t rely on it.
Food never arrived, called restaurant and was spoken to by the very rude Leon. Lied to me again and again. Claimed my number was wrong and when I double checked then claimed the just eat call system wasn't working. Claimed they attempted delivery to the hotel but was informed by hotel staff that no delivery driver ever arrived. Then he told me the restaurant didn't even deliver to this address. Obviously had no intention of providing the delivery and didn't even have the decency to contact me to inform me. Me and my partner and child had to go sleep with no dinner as by time I found out my food wasn't arriving it was too late to sort anything else out. Worst experience I have ever had from a take away. I am disgusted and I hope Leon is trained as his attitude and customer service is beyond poor. Wasn't even offered another delivery despite them being open still was just informed to go back to just eat to get a refund. I expected better from Papa John's.
