   Popped in tonight for food on the way home from work - my first visit here since the new owners took over. Absolutely first class - ordered chips, a sausage supper and some fritters. Everything was freshly cooked, the batter on the sausages in particular was amazing. Good value for money, friendly and chatty staff behind the counter. Top marks from me, I will definitely be back!

   2 weeks in row my 76year old father has been ripped off by delivery driver and received abuse. Order is £8.20 and £11 change is always given even when questioned. Have have seen there is previous reviews detailing similar accounts from abusive delivery drivers.

   1 Star simply because i ordered food last night Special Fish supper and a Pizza delivery was fine food was nice. Ordered the same tonight as my 78 yr old Father enjoyed the Special fish.upon delivery (BEAR IN MIND THEY Delivered same address LAST NIGHT) apparantly i was phoned from one cheeky delivery driver who didnt know the address.to cut the story short yhey are lucky police are noy paying them a visit after a stupid yound delivery driver proceeded to give a 78 year old man abusive cheek.BE AWARE EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF IN SHOP AND DRIVING.

   I have came to this chip shop, hoping to get a decent meal as i just came back from holiday. I opened my box to see some brown/over cooked chips. Most of the plack pudden was hard, I only ate a little bit of it because i was so hungry. I am so disappointed with my meal and will not be back. This is a disgrase for a chip shop and hope maybe one day it will be closed down.
