   We booked our sons engagement party in the upstairs function suite here last month. I've not had a chance to post a review until now but still feel compelled to let everyone know about my experience. Function suite is on the first floor and accessed by a large open staircase from the main bar on the ground floor. Tastefully decorated and the atmosphere was amazing, tables were neatly arranged and there was plenty of space for guests to get up and dance. It has its own bar which was manned all night. We chose to have an open bar for most of the night but a limit can be easily set with the bar staff. The buffet was fantastic and faultless. All in all, everyone had a fantastic, unforgettable night. Would not hesitate to rebook the Ugly Duck in the future. Well done

   First time being in The Ugly Duck and I have to say 10/10 for everything. Food was delish service was quick from ordering to serving. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed on for the karaoke and WOW top class factor finalist singers. Amazing day/night and will defo be back. Thanks guys xx

   Husband ordered burger, no burger left 7pm on a Saturday night, bit disappointed however, he had chicken burger instead, I had chicken fajitas, we had pulled pork loaded fries, brownie&ice cream for desert, omg all amazing, we were served by Ben, i think, who was attentive without being intrusive, polite and an asset to the mucky duck, great example of customer service. Food was best I've had in a long time and very reasonably priced

   First time here for something to eat. It has nice decor and friendly staff. I was in a party of 16 and everyone enjoyed their meal. It is reasonably priced and portions are large. It is typical pub fare. They are having live music on 20th of Dec from a local singer. It was not very busy but it was only Tuesday.

   Always have an amazing time, great atmosphere, drinks are cheaper than other places and don't get me started on the food! Also had my wedding reception in their amazing function sweet. Couldn't thank the staff enough for a seamless night and for taking care of us so well. Best people, best place ☺️

   Food was 20 mins late. We actually watched the delivery driver sit in his car for over 5 mins before he got out to give us our food. Obviously food was cold. But the worst part was the chicken being pink and not cooked through. Slightly over priced and zero presentation, gutted.

   Fantastic place found by accident but shall be visiting again as all the staff were friendly, chatty and helpful. The food was really good especially the dessert "crepe with fresh fruit and white chocolate " served with ice cream One of the best desserts I've ever tasted. Prices are very reasonable and portions are just right. Highly recommended.
