10/10 for food and service. Staff are amazing and rectified an order immediately for my mum who is currently house bound. As a family we order from her a lot and would highly recommend this place. Thank You and especially to Lauras for her customer service

Food arrived earlier than stated, v hot and in a fancy insulated bag. Kids meal came with drink, sweets, fortune cookie and a key ring. Best Chinese had in a while

Website said 40 minute delivery. I wouldn't have bothered ordering if I'd known it would take over an hour and a half instead. Updates on the order system are made up too. Said it was out for delivery and then delivered, but when I phoned the shop they said it hadn't even left yet. Hung up on me when I complained. Avoid.

Make the food as good as the bag it comes in. Got the chicken in batter box meal. Really salty food. Spring rolls were nice. I'm upping the stars from 2 to 4 as the allin one tray is great value for money.

I’ve had plenty Chinese from all over the UK and when I got this last night it was right up there with the best. Slight delay in delivery time due to storms and being really busy, but when it arrived it was as fresh as it could have been. The bag and Tupperware are also very good as an extra

Chicken in lemon should involve a subtle lemon sauce not chicken strips and a bowl of jif

Up till this year I'd have said this place was once of the best Chinese places in Paisley. Now not so much, everything is overly fragrant, as if Chinese 5 spice is just thrown over everything , the Satay sauce reeks of it , and not enough nuts. I judge all chinese places by their satay as its expensive to make properly. Not a fan of this one. Now the extra sauces come in thimbles to make it worse. Time for a change.

The quality of food dispenced does not qualify as restaurant quality. Having ordered sweet and sour tofu and fried rice, we received bland tasteless sauce void of any vegetables. The tofu was a soft soggy mass. We had also ordered what claimed to be a pizza which turned out to be fried stale bread, see attached picture. Needless to say we will not be ordering from Cathays Cuisine again.

It Monday night and I ordered the food at 21.29 but waited 1.5 hours for it to be delivered, I did receive an email from them 40 minutes before it arrived to say it was on the way, I phoned them to ask why the delay ? And they said that we were really far away (actually we were staying at the Normandy hotel) which was only 2.8 miles away, she spoke to me like it was my fault for not being on their door step, 2.8 miles is nothing and I did pay £4.75 for delivery. The soup we ordered was all over the bottom of the bag, and what was left in the container didn’t taste very good, all you could taste was spice, a few vegetables and strips of chicken in a clear stock but which had been spiced up we had both ordered the Tom Yum Soup. I also ordered the chicken satay and a small portion of fried rice, it didn’t taste good and was mostly cold, my wife ordered duck in plum sauce and a small portion of rice, the rice for both of us was cold as was the main courses, there was very little flavour and the sauce for my wife’s duck dish which came separately only tasted like sugar syrup. I will never ever order from Cathay Cuisine ever again and I will not recommend them to anyone else either, if I could give them - minus 5 then I would do, I feel that one star is far too good for them. In this day and age when most food businesses are struggling then Cathay Cuisine could have tried harder - AVOID !!

The meals here aren’t very consistent with quality but overall the stuff I’ve tried has been nice. The honey chicken is stingy on the honey and my cake came frozen. Depending on what day I order my delivery can take 15minutes or as long as 2 1/2hrs to arrive.
