   I was told this was a nice place for Sunday roast and feel it must of been an off day. Roast potatoes tasted reheated and rubbery and the coliflower and cheese was so over cooked that the cheese had evaporated and as soon as put spoon in went to mush. Had high hopes but as said may be it was an off day. Than when one off our guest was not feeling great she wanted.a small portion which was a kids menu they said as she was an adult she could not have so asked manager who said would be okay but will be charge adult price. All 7 of us were shocked by this.

   We went to The Swan this evening, booked a table and it was a bit spur of the moment. On arrival we got a really warm welcome from the young waitress and shown to our table. We were given menus and the specials board to peruse. Drinks were ordered and we were welcomed again by the very friendly gentleman in shorts (sorry ,don't know names) Our food orders were taken and oh my goodness, both dishes that we ordered were delicious, well presented and piping hot. I had the duo of Lamb and my husband had Pie of the day with mash. Generous portions. Desserts were just as delicious and well presented. All in all a very good evening and a great way to celebrate our Wedding anniversary. Many thanks Heather Cox

   I came here for dinner with my young family. The inside of the pub is beautiful, set up to look very relaxing and cosy with a big fireplace taking centre of the dining area. It really gives that cosy, out in the country vibe. The staff are so friendly and easily approachable. Last but not least, the adult meals were beautifully presented and full of flavour. The chef of The Swan obviously takes pride in the quality of their food! The children's meals were great, absolutely no complaints from the kids. If I had to pick one negative point, I would say the children's meals were too heavily salted for my liking, but that comes from the place of a food balance conscientious parent. It is also very, very good value for money, just look at the photo I've attached. It was a fantastic first experience at The Swan, I highly recommend it. I will be returning with my family again.

   Went for dinner, so haven't rated the rooms (if there are any?). Quiet for a Friday evening, but lovely ambience. Staff were very friendly and offered good service. Food to a high standard, all very tasty and well presented. I'll definitely be returning!

   Lovely friendly place. Four ladies out for our Christmas get together Festive menu. Roast turkey main couldn’t fault Asked for extra gravy and they brought out gravy boat Christmas pud and the cheesecake were amazing and delicious The service from when we arrived was outstanding. The manager greeted us and we had our complimentary glass of bubbly Shown to our table which was decorated with crackers and festive napkins. The staff were friendly and welcoming Must mention Immie who looked after us Would highly recommend an evening out at The Swan

   Thank you chef Andy and manager Will for hosting our wedding reception. You and your team provided a perfect job of decorating the room. You even went the extra mile by buying some beautiful sunflowers to go with our sunflower wedding theme. You created a lovely atmosphere, fabulous food and excellent service for 25 adults and 2 babies in high chairs. A very special happy wedding day. Julie and Garry 1st October 2022
