Ordered food, looked amazing, food was cold, overcooked fish was mine. The wife had cod which she said she enjoyed. Horrendous wait for delivery 1 hour and 40 ish minutes £40 Won't be revisting again
Ordered takeaway. Part of the order missing so called and was told would be 20 minutes until delivery of missing order or have a refund for missing items. Meal spoiled by missing order or wait 20 mins for food that was delivered to go cold. Should have been offered new meal delivered or money off next order really as it was their mistake. Food delivered was only luke warm and ordered food from newport before that is still warm. All in all very poor service but lesson learned and won't be ordering again
food was not good. chips cooked just long enough to be like 75 percent cooked. not crispy at all more like slimy. not fluffy in the middle, just like biting into a semi cooked potato. burger looked and tasted like it had been steamed was cooked but not anywhere near a grill. was lkind of pinky grey in colour and tasted like cow (not in a good way like it tasted like the smell from a butchers shop all in all not a meal that i ever want to think about again! i recommend you go back to basics and develop your chip cooking methods. how can a chippy get by if they cant cook chips properly
Probably the most delicious fish and chips I’ve ever had! Staying locally for work and had cod, chips and curry sauce, delicious! Back again and had the same with Irish curry sauce, even better! Cod was cooked fresh, just the right size portion of chips and lovely friendly staff. Good job I have to come down regularly :)
This place is a hidden gem. I happened to stumble upon them on a random day when i was in the area for work. The food is amazing but that people are even better. I was in for literally under 10 mins ordering some takeaway and walked away having the most wholesome human connection. The owner was so friendly and great banter too. this place must be treasured and wish there were more of them. Will definitely visit again. 5 stars!

Always consistently good food and friendly service, a popular local fish and chip shop in Magor Village. Pie and Chips with a carton of irish curry sauce all for £6.60. Cash only.
FANTASTIC! Where else can you order a big fancy home cooked pizza, a lush cheesecake or cream cake, and even much on a battered sausage while you're waiting for the pizza to cook?! Loads to choose from, so everyone should be happy. Will definately be back again. And no, I didn't manage the large 16 inch pizza in one sitting. Nor could I finish it at breakfast time... ***note: cash only (except via just eat) at time of visit November '22***
Tasty, tasty pizzas cooked hot and fresh for collection crispy bases, fresh ingredients. Reasonable prices and ready on time. Have been getting fish and chips from Angelo’s for many years but never tried their pizzas before. A real treat.
