We had breakfast (incl. in room price) at the main restaurant and lunch at the Atrium Bar. Service and atmosphere in the former far outshone the latter and whilst the latter was 'alright' the former was 'delightful' with its wood panelling and decor that oozed grandeur and history. I'd rate Atrium 3-4* and the main restaurant 4-5*

The Steak Ciabatta & Fries were rather delicious and the restaurant location was bright, light, & vibrant. Sadly, due to some poor, disinterested service from two staff members during our visit, this review can’t be a 5 star. We would still return in the future.

The terrace was stunning in the sunlight, with a breathtaking view of the magnificent Tortworth mansion. It provided a perfect backdrop for our afternoon snack. We ordered fish and chips, chicken wings, calamari, beer, and cakes. While the food was decent, it did not meet expectations. Service is an area that needs significant improvement. For someone like me visiting as a tourist, the main attraction is the beautiful garden and the impressive hotel structure, not the food itself.

It was our second visit and we went to celebrate my wife's birthday. We tried their afternoon tea which was delicious but nothing extraordinary. Sandwiches were soft, fresh and delicious , but the Scone was basic. Scone was a bit tough and didn't taste fresh. From my experience I didn't find their afternoon tea much different than M&S or Patisserie Valerie. It's bit overpriced if you compare with other places. Overall service and atmosphere was great. We really enjoyed it and definitely be back again but not for afternoon tea this time.

Attended a class reunion and twenty four of us enjoyed a three course meal in the Victoria room. No complaints from anyone, the food was excellent, and the staff without exception all friendly and accommodating. No long waits for any of the courses. Various bars in the hotel, and not the cheapest of prices but you are paying for a charming location. Do walk around the arboretum, well worth it for the autumn colours.

Went for a drink with my boyfriend- glass on wine and a lime soda.. we're charged £19??? Used to Bristol prices, but this was ridiculous

Had dinner twice here whilst on a 4 day stay, quality of food for such a lovely place is appalling, food tasted like it had been frozen and not fresh. I have 2 days left and on Google trying to find somewhere better to eat, such a let down. This review is for the dinning experience only

Lovely setting food is good cream tea not worth the money but your paying for the beautiful building and garden spa is amazing and very relaxing. Good value also

Excellent food whilst staying here last summer. We did not have lunch on any day, but both breakfast and dinner were top class.
